Elk Auction
This online auction offers residents the chance to hunt just ten minutes from home in the 8,200-acre Backcountry Wilderness Area. We hold a lottery drawing–before the Elk Auction–to determine the tags: bull elk, cow elk, coyote, and spring turkey. The number of tags varies year to year. All of the proceeds raised in the Elk Auction directly benefit the Backcountry Conservation & Education Fund. Backcountry Wilderness Area Tu-Th 03/01/22 - 03/03/22
