Part-Time Payroll Assistant This position is responsible for preparing and reconciling company benefit invoices, maintaining personnel files and processing payroll in a back-up capacity. This position provides clerical and administrative support to the Payroll Manager, and should be able to operate payroll department in the manager’s absence. Qualified applicant should possess a minimum of Three years experience in payroll administration. Experience in ADP-Payroll is preferred. SKILLS • Positively identify colors of conductors. • Comprehends reading of blueprints and schematics • Bend conduit by hand using hand benders • Must use all power tools, benders, and knockout punches. • Capable of digging trenches, either by hand tools or power equipment • Practices and comprehends safe work procedures as outlined in the company Safety Policy Handbook, Haz-com Policy, and Lockout Tagout Policy • Operate two handed tools such as cable cutters, hammer drills, compression tools and jack hammers. • Operate company trucks with manual and automatic transmissions. • Read and interpret maps, instructional manuals, specifications, work site directions, blue prints and written instructions. • Operate and work from personal lifts, gas or electric powered. • Operate equipment, trenchers, backhoes, lift trucks in a safe manner. • Work energized circuits and equipment with company management approval as outlined in the Company safety Manual.
PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS • Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull, and reach overhead. • Lift 51 pounds • Constantly moving on your feet, all day long • Climb ladders of all types • Complete overhead work for full days assignments • Must be able to make transition from the employee parking areas into the construction site and gain access to all levels of the working areas • Possess good vision (normal or corrected) • Responsible for securing tools and materials from storage areas to complete their assigned tasks
