Individual must be a graduate of a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Education Program; have successfully completed at least 12 contact hours of continuing Neonatal Nurse Practitioner education within the preceding 24 months which maintains skills and knowledge as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner; possess a minimum of 1 year broad experience as a Nurse Practitioner in Level 3 Neonatal ICUs and experience in both the newborn nursery and delivery room setting within the last 2 years; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification; neonatal Resuscitation Provider certification (NRP); and minimum of 1 year full-time experience as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner within the preceding 2 years.
