Student Clinical Services Coordinator The School of Nursing at Old Dominion University is seeking a Student Clinical Services Coordinator to manage health records and clinical placements for undergraduate and graduate nursing students. Supports the educational mission of the School of Nursing by obtaining, verifying and maintaining information required by facilities for clinical placements; disseminating facility requirements to faculty; developing and maintaining master schedules of clinical rotations and preceptor sites; managing faculty requests for clinical sites; serving as a liaison to clinical organizations; and maintaining an active database of student information and clinical placements. Will also be a teaching assistant on repository course sites on Blackboard that house documentation of completed mandatory trainings by students. The anticipated start date is August 25, 2014. This position requires strong communication skills (interpersonal, oral and written) and strong organizational skills with an ability to manage large amounts of data in electronic databases. The Student Clinical Services Coordinator would be a Registered Nurse. The candidate would also have a Master’s degree along with several years of managerial work experience in the health care industry.
