ANNI VERSARIES When Harmers auctioned the first portion of the Dale / Lichtenstein collections in New York in 1968, the sale was held at the same time as the 50th Anniversary of H.R . Harmer Ltd. in London, the parent company. Now, some twenty years later, it is with great pleasure that we proclaim the 50th anniversary of Harmers of New York and the 70th Anniversary of Harmers of London, along with the formation of a new Harmer Gallery in Switzer land. Family-owned and managed since 1918, spanning three generations on two sides of the Atlantic, each of our offices celebrates its own very significant birthday and, again in conjunction with this important occasion in our history, the selling of the second portion of the collections.
