Oh African child born into a generation where opinions render our minds into believing we aren’t good enough letting society make you feel impuissant because of what their expectations are worry not African child because being pristine makes you stand out why fit in when you can be unique ? learn to embrace yourself wear that crown on your head enthusiastically , be proud of that melanin skin for the rays of the sun will always make it glow better than ever for its richness in colour is way more valuable than you think. often people put up a facade of how happy they are but most of the time , the truth behind it all is that they can’t stand the fact that you are a threat to them . so belittling you is a way of getting over their insecurities.

remember your life , your choices you come first so do what makes you happy . you are strong , you are beautiful and you are intelligent for you were born and bred on African ground you are a true colour bash of the black soil believing all this and believing in yourself is what will get you far in life what ever obstacle may be in the way nna motlotlo ka se o leng sone (be proud of who you are) and don’t forget know your worth !
