畢業於國立臺北藝術大學藝術與人文教育研究所,現為美術館館員及獨 立藝術工作者。近年執行展覽、出版、媒體公關及藝術教育專案策劃統 籌,並受邀至各藝術節擔任藝術家執行藝術計畫。 自2010年起擔任社區規劃師,執行多項社區規劃案,行走在城市間,對 城市、生活、文化相當感興趣,思考藝術與文化之間的新連結與觀點。 持續關注人權、文化、藝術等議題,如弱勢、榮民、移工議題,並積極 參與各類活動。並以民眾參與為導向,跨越年齡和種族,納入城市中的 環境、文化議題,與民眾共同合作共創藝術行動計畫。 Chu, Hsiao-Chi, an independent art project coordinator and writer. Graduated from Taipei National University of the Arts, Chu has considerable expertise in arts and culture studies, provoking new insights and initiating public engagement projects through observing people’s city and lifestyle. Since 2015, Chu has written two books talking about her travel of the World Heritage in Mongolia and the Middle East. More publication, including her art review and interview article could be found in art plus magazine and The News Lens.

The Serene Gallery is the third phase of its precursor Nordic, a two-phase theatrical presentation. It’s about moving the theatrical stage to a museum to re-imagine and create a sensory experience unique to each viewer. We want to re-create an authentic aboriginal get-together in the museum, where people are welcome to visit our “home” to wine and dine with us—enjoy Taiwan Beer, PaolytaB alcoholic energy drink, rice wine, and of course, our special aboriginal cocktails, and strike up a good conversation over some peanuts, glutinous rice (hakhak), pickled pork (siraw), and betel nuts (‘icep). What else can we feel from “people”? masingkiay (Amis, meaning mad, neurotic). You will be our guests. As a guest, we want to get to know you through conversations and sharing. The exhibition created a new set of exhibition vocabularies҆live open studio of conversation, to make public deliver the concept of historic beauty and cultural preservation through working with conservators.

薩懯向 䌕礯䁆ᤈ “Playtogether 2013” Installation Exhibition Project Planning and Execution 2013.09~2014.01
Taipei City Urban Regeneration Office made their investment in an innovative way, by sponsoring “Playtogether” project in hosting exhibitions in staging exhibitions. Though the exhibitions were only for a short period, we were able to build up a platform that manages community events. By holding events, the space will open up for both residents and visitors to gain new experiences and share ideas together.
