The Aquanova range
Key to transfer type
Our Aquanova range of baths cover many different bathing needs and encompasses three product ranges.
Different physical conditions and levels of mobility demand different transfer options for the bather. Our bath range caters for every type of transfer, from bathers who can access the bath unaided to those who require high levels of assistance.
The Platform Series An integral platform serves as a convenient bathing, drying and changing table. Our Platform Series baths offer exceptional versatility, comfort and ease of use, with fewer transfers for bather and carer.
The icons below indicate the different types of transfer available so you can select the most appropriate bath to suit your needs (see pages 6-17).
The 1700 Series Designed for safe, secure bathing in domestic and smaller spaces, products in the 1700 Series are compact enough to fit the footprint of a traditional bath. To meet specific needs, fixed and variable height bathing options are available.
The 1800 Series Longer, wider and deeper than the 1700 Series, the 1800 Series is designed for the larger bather or for care environments with multiple occupancy, where bathers and carers have a more diverse range of needs. The table opposite shows the main features of each Aquanova bath and the care settings in which each product is most appropriate. All of our baths are available with a wide variety of options and accessories to make the bathing experience even more comfortable and enjoyable (see pages 18-19).

GEMINI
Wheelchair Ceiling Track Hoist
Step 1
The popular Gemini is a fully height adjustable bath with a variable height platform inside the bath. Bathers sit on the platform and the bath is then raised, gently immersing them in a relaxing bath. The bath and the bather can then be raised to a comfortable working height for the carer.
Mobile Hoist
Step 2
After bathing, the platform becomes a drying and changing table, avoiding a wet transfer out of the bath. In fact, an overall benefit of the Gemini is that it significantly reduces the number of transfers required – making the bathing experience less tiring, much safer and more pleasurable for bathers and carers alike.
Step 3
The Gemini is also suitable for use with ceiling track hoists and mobile hoists for bathers requiring specialist assistance. Step 4

PISCES
Wheelchair Ceiling Track Hoist
Ideal for either the more independent bather or for bathers who need to be transferred from a wheelchair or by a hoist, the Pisces allows the bath to be prefilled, while the bather moves onto the platform.
Step 1
While the platform remains static, the bath enclosure is then raised, gently bringing the water level up around the bather.
Step 2
Once bathing is complete, the bather doesn’t have to wait for the water to be drained away before they leave the bath. The bath compartment simply lowers back down, leaving the bather free to be dried and changed on the platform while the water drains away.

Suitable for a range of different abilities, the Scorpio Plus is an evolution of the Pisces, adding a powered seat transfer to the integrated, bathing platform. The powered seat gives you the flexibility to transfer bathers who are mobile or who use a wheelchair – either aided or unaided.

SCORPIO 1700
Wheelchair Ceiling Track Hoist
The compact yet exceptionally capable Scorpio 1700 provides a flexible bathing system that is height adjustable, ensuring a safe, comfortable working level for the carer. If bathers prefer to get into a bath unaided, the Scorpio 1700 is ideal, as it incorporates a seat transfer that can be powered manually or automatically. Once the bath is filled, the seat is raised to the transfer height required by the bather and locked in position, before lowering gently into the bath. As well as the powered seat, the bather can also transfer into the bath from a wheelchair, a mobile hoist or a ceiling track hoist.

12 Temperature Control Bath Shower Mixer Tap
The perfect option when wall mounting is not possible. Mounted on the bath side for easy access, the fixing stores the showerhead neatly and safely when not in operation.
For mounting on an adjacent wall, the riser rail keeps the shower head accessible and safe at all times.
Especially designed with an integrated TMV3 valve for maximum temperature control for both the bath fill (44-46 C) and shower (39 C), this top of the range tap comes with the additional feature of a protective shroud to ensure the outside of the tap always feels cool to touch. A riser rail, bathside fixing or Category 5 System must be specified with this tap for fixing the shower head.
