s General Secretary of the Management Committee (MC) since 2011, DAC Manimaran Pushpanatan has been one of the key driving forces behind the HomeTeamNS transformation initiatives. He tirelessly led the NSmen to put in place strategic goals to bring HomeTeamNS to new heights. His relentless pursuit to gain the support of the leadership and NSmen for the benefit of a brighter HomeTeamNS is exemplary.
DAC Manimaran concurrently serves in the Staff Establishment Committee. He also actively chairs and participates in tender evaluation and discussion panels, contributing substantively to the betterment of HomeTeamNS. For his exemplary contributions to HomeTeamNS, DAC Manimaran Pushpanatan has been conferred the Meritorious Gold Award.

COL Lee Yam Ming

s the advisor of the Clubhouse Development Committee, Mr Lee Yam Ming was instrumental in driving the upgrading of the clubhouses – from the Phase 1 infrastructure makeover, to the upgrading of the current Sembawang Clubhouse, as well as plans for the new Tampines Clubhouse.
He led with clear vision, successfully ensuring that the project teams were on track with the project timeline and budget. COL Lee’s generosity to share his knowledge and guide as Advisor of the various Executive Committees reflected his unstinting commitment to pursue in the interest of HomeTeamNS’ growth and well-being. COL Lee’s approachable demeanour enabled many to benefit from his input and advice. For his exceptional contributions to HomeTeamNS, COL Lee Yam Ming has been conferred the Meritorious Gold Award. He is also awarded the 10-year Long Service Award for his sustained commitment towards the betterment of HomeTeamNS.

Mr Frederick Tan
Member, Management Committee and Chairman of HomeTeamNS Sembawang Executive Committee

r Frederick Tan has been a NSman volunteer since 2000 and a member with the Management Committee since 2009. He played a dynamic role as part of the Review Committee in 2012, actively strategizing and charting the future of HomeTeamNS. As the Chairman of the Sembawang Executive Committee (EC), he effectively led the EC and staff team to significantly improve the usage and promotion of the clubhouse. Infectiously positive, Mr Frederick Tan’s can-do spirit was instrumental in the transformative concept behind the revamped Sembawang Club.
For his stellar contributions to HomeTeamNS, Mr Frederick Tan has been conferred the Meritorious Gold Award. He is also awarded the 15-year Long Service Award for his sustained commitment towards the betterment of HomeTeamNS.

TC(NS) Malik is a strong advocate of NSmen adopting a healthier and active lifestyle. His commendable contributions from helming events such as REAL Run, IPPT Challenge, Fitness Day and Bukit Timah Hike were driven by his passion to raise the fitness levels of NSmen. Always responsive to the call for assistance, his commitment to his responsibilities is exemplary. As the Vice-Chairman of Balestier Executive Committee, LTC(NS) Malik played an important role in building interest and awareness of the Balestier Clubhouse among NSmen and their families.
For his remarkable contributions to HomeTeamNS, LTC(NS) Malik Aljunied has been conferred the Meritorious Gold Award. He is also awarded the 10-year Long Service Award for his sustained commitment towards the betterment of HomeTeamNS.

r Edwin Ang has been Vice Chairman of Bukit Batok Executive Committee since 2013. As the Vice-Chairman of the HomeTeamNS Auto Adventure Club, he was relentless in his pursuit of bringing to fruition, activities for club members, as part of the club’s endeavour to create fertile grounds for SPF and SCDF NSmen to integrate and bond. Always acting in the interest of his fellow NSmen, Mr Ang has earned much support of club members.
For his outstanding contributions to HomeTeamNS, Mr Edwin Ang has been conferred the Meritorious Gold Award. He is also awarded the 5-year Long Service Award for his sustained commitment towards the betterment of HomeTeamNS.

s Chairman of the Branding & Publicity Committee since 2013, DAC(NS) Jonathan Wan provided leadership in the review of the Association’s brand vision mission, and values, leading to a successful relaunch of the HomeTeamNS brand in November 2014. DAC(NS) Wan played an active role in the management of HomeTeamNS’s various communication platforms, driven by his passion to reach out and engage the Home Team NSmen. For his significant contributions to HomeTeamNS, DAC (NS) Jonathan Wan has been conferred the Meritorious Silver Award.

r Mohd Yusoff has been a member of the Management Committee since 2001. As a member of the Review 2012 team, he actively contributed to the infrastructural makeover plans. Mr Mohd Yusoff also chairs the Audit Committee since 2013, successfully leading the Association in the pursuit of good governance and best practices.

PT(NS) Hisham Hasim has been Vice Chairman of the Branding & Publicity Committee since 2013. He provided generous guidance with his rich experience in the media industry, and actively participated in the review of the HomeTeamNS brand review and relaunch. As Chairman of the Editorial Committee, CPT(NS) Hisham demonstrated acute editorial advice on the concept, content and production of the 10th anniversary book. For his commendable contributions to HomeTeamNS, CPT(NS) Hisham Hasim has been conferred the Meritorious Bronze Award.

r Chua Song Heng contributed significantly towards Review 2012 of HomeTeamNS, leading the NS Leaders to present the review’s recommendations to the Ministry, resulting in the transformation of HomeTeamNS today. He mooted the idea of a Practical Shooting Club in 2012 to foster bonding among SPF and SCDF NSmen, and currently helms the club as its Chairman. For his commendable contributions to HomeTeamNS, Mr Chua Song Heng has been conferred the Meritorious Bronze Award.

10th Anniversary Gala Dinner ABOUT HOMETEAMNS HomeTeamNS is a non-profit Association set up to recognise the invaluable contributions of the Singapore Police Force (SPF) and Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) NSmen to the safety and security of the nation. A merger between the former Singapore Police Association for National Servicemen (SPANS) and Singapore Civil Defence Association for National Servicemen (CDANS), HomeTeamNS aims to create a shared environment for NSmen from both forces to foster better relations while working together. HomeTeamNS was officially launched by Mr Wong Kan Seng, former Minister for Home Affairs on 24 April 2005.
