HTS Online provides a curriculum that exceeds the requirements of the Ministry of Education in Ontario. Students graduate with an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), which is supplemented at HTS with additional graduation requirements.
Students will also graduate with an experiential learning component and with additional credits that build their financial literacy and digital fluency in emerging technologies.
This enriched academic program works alongside co-curricular activities that enhance our students’ experience and skill development, ensuring our learners have the knowledge and competencies to thrive both academically and professionally.

Students are required to have an IELTS band score of at least 6 or a TOEFL overall score of at least 60 to be considered for admission. This requirement is to ensure that all students admitted demonstrate a level of understanding of the English language that will allow them to be successful throughout their studies.

Adam Hurley PrincipalAdam is an experienced educational leader with more than 10 years of experience in private school education. He earned a Bachelor of Physical Health and Education, Bachelor of Education and Master of Education from the University of Toronto. Adam comes to HTS having launched a school from the ground up 8 years ago. He believes it is essential to instill curiosity in all students, create and foster a collaborative online community and individualize the learning experience to support all learners to achieve their goals.

Diana Cibrão Academic DirectorDiana is an experienced and passionate educational leader with 14 years of experience. Diana comes to HTS having multiple roles in Ontario’s public school educational system ranging from classroom teacher, curriculum developer at the school board level and school administrator. She holds a Master of Education and Bachelor of Education from Ontario Tech University. She believes in the potential of every learner to succeed and the impact of every educator to transform the lives of learners.
