Interface In order to get a better understanding of RaceClocker’s functions and elements, the web interface of RaceClocker is analysed. Within the website we identified two main pages, first of all Race details -enabling a race manager to create a race - and secondly the Timer dashboard - here one can find links and buttons directing the user to the actual timers needed during a race.

The header of the website includes the logo and navigation buttons, linking to a list of the previously created races and the personal account details (Figure 4). The dark blue area at the top of every page shows information about the race. Some navigation and functional buttons, such as editing participant details or navigating to the timer dashboard, are located here. All navigation buttons on this timerdashboard (Figure 5 on next page) include an icon and a description, some functional buttons only show an icon. Figure 6 on page 12 and 13 explains the different timing modes within the timer dashboard.
