A Letter From

the

Founders

Back to our roots. Autumn is a favorite time of ours, one when we celebrate the anniversary of our launch, and enjoy the comfort of familiar rituals, like going to Rhinebeck, gathering with friends + family, and knitting for the cold months ahead. Our Autumn/Winter 2021 collection digs deep into our personal and knitting roots. These seven designs celebrate our favorite techniques (cables, cables, and more cables) and the kinds of updated takes on classic silhouettes that first brought us together and inspired our core mission: making yarns for the kinds of garments we love to wear, and want to wear forever. Shot in the remnants of Hurricane Ida just up the road from Meghan’s home in the Hudson Valley, it’s also a love letter to our regional roots, to a place that inspires us every day and where our yarns and our company were born. This collection features everything from modern-classic cabled pullovers to squishy textured accessories, including designs from both of us, and new and returning friends of the flock Jennifer Parroccini, Cheryl Toy, Natalya Berezynska, and Anne-Michelle Phelan. We loved creating this collection for you, and hope you find something in these pages to make and cherish, in this autumn and in many autumns to come. With love, Meghan + Sloane

The Collection

Saven Meghan Babin

Meghan Babin

Saven Saven by co-founder Meghan Babin is an updated twist on the classic New England-style cabled Fishermen’s pullover. Drawing inspiration from the silver screen, this unisex design is based on the moth-eaten cabled sweater worn by Ransom Drysdale in the film Knives Out. Meghan kept one of the flanking cables from the original, but explored similar-but-different cables and a fit-focused blend of raglan and saddle shoulder shaping to create not a replica, but a sibling to the original inspiration. Amelia Sloane Rosenthal

Sloane Rosenthal

Amelia Cozy up this fall in Amelia by co-founder Sloane Rosenthal. This laid back, preppy nod to classic cabled knitwear is the comfy layer that you’ll reach for over and over again throughout the year. Amelia’s squishy central cable and flanking rope twists are repeated on the front + back and is peppered with basketweave stitch on the sides and arms. This pullover is made from the bottom up in pieces, seamed, then the sleeves are picked up at the armholes and worked from the top down. View Design Specs // Made in Forge

Rhett Meghan Babin

Natalya Berezynska

Archer Wrap up in a grandly oversized blanket-scarf this fall. Archer, by European-born and Las Vegas-based designer Natalya Berezynska, is a cable and openwork scarf made for crisp fall days, featuring a gorgeous openwork motif that creates a squishy, leaf-like allover pattern. Simple cable accents run from the deep ribbed edges and flow naturally throught the pattern motif. The slip stitch edges create an i-cord-like finish requiring no extra steps. From cast on to bind off, this project is a delight only topped by wearing it throughout the years to come. View Design Specs // Made in Forge
