Founders
Hello, dear knitters! It’s winter again, and time for our second annual celebration of one of four favorite kinds of knitting: colorwork. Our Deep Winter 2021 collection is small but mighty, including seven bold, modern designs featuring a huge range of techniques and approaches to knitting in color. From a traditional yoked pullover with a swingy of-the-moment shape to a reversible, double-knit hat and mitts set, from a steeked cardigan to a mosaic pullover knit in pieces and seamed, to a mosaic shawl and a pair of cozy beanies, this collection is full of surprises and twists on knitting techniques new and old. Despite their varied techniques, all of them feature bold, high-contrast motifs, pairing many of our deeply saturated colorways against our beloved natural fawn. In this collection discover new designs from friends of the flock Jesie Ostermiller, Jennifer Peck, Sarah Shepherd, and Cheryl Toy, as well as new designs from us (Sloane + Meghan). We hope you’ll find in these pages something to inspire your knitting and expand your horizons, while keeping you and your loved ones warm this winter and in many years to come.
