Happy Holidays! It’s that time of year, the light is brief and the nights are long and full of knitting. In these pages you’ll find several new designs and a few old favorites refreshed for the holiday season, including several hats ranging from simple classics to colorwork. At Hudson + West Co., we think the holiday season is a time to celebrate our craft and share it with our most-loved ones by creating a token of our affection in stitches. Fine American Yarns From sheep to skein, attention to detail is our mission. Our signature blend of 70% U.S. Merino and 30% U.S. Corriedale is sourced from trusted wool pools in New Mexico and Colorado (for our fine Merino), and upstate New York (for our Corriedale). Forge and Weld, our worsted and finger weight yarns, were crafted by our founders to to balance softness and durability, for heirloom quality garments and accessories to last for years, but remain next-to-skin wearable. Our semi-worsted spun base lends itself to texture, cables, colorwork, and plain stockinette stitch. Its gentle haze provides a perfect base for impresionistic colorwork and sharp cables, alike. This small holiday collection features texture, cables, and even a dash of colorwork. Stay tuned, there is even more colorwork on the horizon.

H+W Colors At Hudson + West, we are all about deep, rich, alluring colors. Our range of deeply saturated shades is dyed over our light grey base yarn, allowing the lovely underlying heathers—and the blend of Corriedale and Merino fibers—to shine through. The results are spectacularly complex colors with heathered tonality throughout the palette.
