Welcome to The Continental Pilot Field as we host the board, management, coaches, players and most importantly supporters of Margate FC.

Firstly, it feels like a lifetime ago since I’ve seen you all as I have missed a couple of travelling games coupled with home games being postponed, therefore it’ll be great to see you all today.

I know results haven’t been the best for the team the last couple of games but it’s on us all as a collective to get it right and I have no doubt Gary and Jon have it in hand and know how to turn the corner.

The playoffs are still a realistic aim with the current circumstances, and we will see how we get on over the coming weeks, that all starts with today’s game!

Unfortunately, in Sunday’s Women’s game versus

Fulham, Izzy Burt suffered a snapped patellar tendon and will be out for a significant period, I would like to thank all the players, the volunteers and friends of the club who helped on Sunday, putting the welfare of the player first before anything else … the way it should be.

As Gary has said in his notes it’s been a bit rough on and off the pitch recently and without saying too much that is the case. However, I will do my upmost to push forward and make sure we give our all regardless of the circumstances to be competitive, keep united and keep our identity.
