Are you prepared for the talent war? The past two or three years have seen a breakneck speed of change in both the internal and external environment of organisations. No matter which industry one looks at: HR solutions, advertising and PR, healthcare, IT and ITeS, manufacturing, construction, services or the financial sector, each one has been impacted by substantial changes in the form of changing expectations of stakeholders, realignment of business models and newer forms of competition. With the war on talent only getting tougher, in order for an organisation to meet its growing manpower demands, it is crucial for employers to seek out previously untapped means of rewards and recognition. Let’s unearth these ideas together over two intense days of learning and discussion at Employee Benefits Asia 2017. Organised for the sixth year in Singapore, and for the third year in Malaysia, we are pleased to welcome you today to our twoday conference on compensation and benefits strategies. Every year we hope to tackle the most pressing issues faced by benefits and rewards specialists, and this year is no different.
Supplementing the on-stage action in the form of case studies and keynote presentations will be relevant panel discussions. You will also find a number of opportunities to network with speakers and delegates from various industries – so do make use of the conversation potential. Moreover, we encourage you to participate in our Q&A platform, either just through a show of hands or by texting in your questions via PigeonHole, ensuring the most popular questions are tackled by the speakers. As you settle in this morning, we in the Human Resources team look forward to meeting all of you. Please send us your feedback and photos on either LinkedIn or on Twitter @mag_HR with the hashtag #EBA2017. Enjoy the conference!
One of the highlights as you join us this year is the refreshing set of topics on the agenda, ranging from best practices in flexible benefits, to costs of healthcare, and a focus on HR analytics.
