Welcome to the second annual edition of the Human Resources’ Leaders’ Summit set here in the gorgeous Angsana Laguna – what a place to ideate! Workplaces – and the way we work within (and more often, outside of) them – are changing, each in their own context. Accordingly, the business environment today demands the CHRO to adapt in a number of ways. The rate of dynamism of this change is placing a number of challenges in each of your job descriptions. The scope of what you do has evolved, and how.
With delegates coming from Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, India, and Oman, among others, we will provide you with the opportunity to discuss the topics that are most pertinent to you – such as today’s workforce trends, HR transformation and career development, the role of the modern CHRO, ways to incorporate principles of diversity and inclusion, and much more. For this discussion (and debate) on the real talent issues that keep you busy, we whisk you away from the day-to-day work environment, so we can optimise on our time together, and incubate ideas that all of us can go back and apply at the workplace.
And that’s what this summit is here to address. Conceptualised last year, the HR Leaders’ Summit is our vision of an exclusive networking platform for the senior-most HR leaders in and around the region.
It’s not often that we all get together in a setting like this, so let’s make the most of our time here! It is a pleasure to have you here – so do enjoy HR Leaders’ Summit 2015.
This is where we hope to drive change and elevate the standard of HR through collaboration, sharing of experiences and a number of facilitated interactions. Held behind closed doors, and by invitationonly, this retreat promises to enable learning from failure as much as success, and push human resources to new levels of impactful leadership. Apart from sunshine, cocktails and all-day networking (of course), these three days promise to bring together your peers from across the region, and further afield, to generate top-level mindshare on the issues and challenges which concern you, as heads of the HR and talent functions.
