Paneer Manchurian Dry Recipe

Dry and spicy Paneer Manchurian is one of the best Indo Chinese recipes. A classic Paneer dish that is a favourite for vegetarian lovers!.

Delicious and easy

for frying paneer 250 grams paneer/cottage cheese, 8 to 9 ounces paneer 2 tbsp corn starch ½ tsp black pepper powder or white pepper ½ tsp red chilli powder or ¼ tsp cayenne pepper ½ tsp sugar (optional) ½ tsp salt or add as required 3 tbsp oil

1.5 to 2 tbsp tomato ketchup ½ tbsp soy sauce or add as required ¼ tsp black pepper or white pepper ½ tsp rice vinegar or apple cider or regular vinegar

½ tsp red chilli powder or ¼ tsp cayenne pepper ¼ cup water ⅓ cup onions or spring onion whites diced into 1 inch squares ½ cup capsicum/bell peppers diced into 1 inch squares (any color - red, green or yellow) 9. 1 tsp finely chopped ginger/adrak 10. 1 tsp finely chopped garlic/lahsun 11. 1 tsp finely chopped green chilies/hari mirch 12. 1 to 2 tsp finely chopped celery (optional) 13. salt as required

First take the onions and bell peppers and chop them into 1 inch squares. Now take the ginger, garlic, green chillies and celery and finely chop them. Take the paneer and cut them into cubes. Pat them dry with a clean towel. In a mixing bowl, add the paneer, 1/2 tsp red chilli powder, 1/3 tsp black pepper powder, 1/2 tsp salt and 2 tbsp corn starch. 5. Gently mix. 6. In a pan, add 3 tbsp of oil. 7. Once the oil is medium hot add the paneer cubes. 8. Cook until all the sides are done. If you want to make it crispy, deep fry the cubes. 9. Fry until the paneer becomes light golden. 10. Remove the paneer cubes and place them on paper towels to drain the excess oil. 11. In the same pan, add the onions, capsicum, ginger, green chillies, garlic and celery. Saute well. 12. In the bowl that you used to mix the paneer, there should be left over spice mixture and corn starch powder. If there isnt, dissolve 1 tbsp corn starch with 3 tbsp water. 13. Now add 1/4 cup water into the bowl and make a paste. 14. Stir the vegetables until the bell peppers are half-cooked. 15. Now add 1/2 tbsp soy sauce and 1.5 tbsp tomato ketchip. For extra sweetness you cna add 1.5 tsp of sugar. 16. Add slt to taste, red chilli powder and black pepper. Add little salt as the soy sauce, tomato sauce and corn starch already have salt.


17. Now add the corn starch paste you made and allow the mixture to simmer on medium flame for about 1 to 2 minutes. 18. Once the gravy is thick, add the paneer cubes. 19. Mix well until the cubes are coated evenly. 20. Now add the vinegar. 21. Taste and add salt, soy sauce, vinegar or black pepper if required. 22. Serve hot. For More Information Visit Here
