In an exclusive interview with The Local Santa Claus has sent his best wishes to the children of Newcastle. The jolly red man and his reindeer have performed a number of daring daylight practice runs across the sky in recent days just to check the time it will take him to visit local families this Christmas. He
has double-checked his lists and is pretty sure no one will miss out. “It takes some months of planning to fit all my Christmas Eve visits in” Mr Claus told The Local. “Of course I’ve had many helpers along the way. When it comes to the big day however it’s all down to me.” he added. Santa went on to mention quite a
number of local kids by name. He said they had shown great effort with their school work this year. He thinks they are in for a real treat when they open their gifts on Christmas Day. He wished all The Local’s readers a fabulous, family Christmas and a safe and healthy new year.
