FITTING INSTRUCTIONS 1. Ensure the ram is fully retracted and not connected to an oil supply. Remove the roll pin and pivot pin from the ram base clevis ( red arrow). Remove the hose blocks (white arrows.) Lift the torque arm up, free of the ram.
2. Take note how the hoses are run and tied. Remove all hoses from the Bale Feeder. Remove the hydraulic adapters from the ram (red arrows). The hoses do not need to be used again on this machie. Leave the adapters on the motor.
3. Fot the valve in place, ensure the U-bolt doesn’t interfere with the latch hooks. Fit the adapters to the valvem tighten them. The dowty seal fits between the diverter valve and the adapter.
9
4. Fit and tighten the restricted adapters to the ram, they have 1.2 marked on the side. The dowty seal fits between the ram port and the adapter.
5. Attach the two long 1/4’ hoses to the valve ram ports, run them down through the motor guard and attach the ram base hose.
6. Cable tie the hoses together near the ram pivot pin, ensure theyre the same length. Attach the other hose to the ram spear port.
10
FITTING INSTRUCTIONS CONT. 7. tighten the ram hoses with the looped hose angled out away from the machine at the top as shown.
8. Lower the torque arm and refit the ram pin ( white arrow). Tap the roll pin in place. Fit hose blocks, hoses should hang 100mm below motor guard (red arrow).
9. Fit the motor hoses to the valve. Attach the other end to the motor, ensure theyre on the correct ports, tighten them.
