Beyond providing me with an opportunity to gain the first experience that is related to fashion industry as a career, I believe that this position would allow me to gain more practical knowledges of fashion resource field. The work of the Resource Room Assistant could broaden my perspective in fashion studies and meet my personal and academical interests. I am currently a junior in Fashion Marketing and Management program at Savannah College of Art and Design. I believe that my detail-oriented personality and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment will fit well with the Resource Room Assistant. With taking Fashion courses and Fashion marketing courses, my educational background has provided me with an understanding of materials for fashion industry. Especially, the textiles class and experiences that has been used the resource room during fashion classes allow me to be familiar and knowledge about the resources. Even though I am not perfectly knowledgeable about every resource, my love of fashion draws me to study and explore more about every resource in resource room. Additionally, I have gained experience of working as a team in some classes, such as speech and business classes, and fashion shows. Through these experience, I have learned how to communicate with people and manage effectively my time while working under deadlines. I am very enthusiastic about the possibility of the resource room assistant and have enclosed my resume for review.
