01 LAURELENE CHAMBOVET

MY SEVEN DIALS: Lolo is the philanthropic manager at The Hospital Club. She is a free spirit that navigates between the commercial world and artists’ lands. I like to sit on the bench outside Monmouth Coffee (1) watching people passing by while sipping a delicious coffee. Mint (2) have some of the best vintage clothing. Make sure to go downstairs and check their shoes. I also love Vans (3), they’re comfy and never out of trend. I work at The Hospital Club (4), it’s like a big family there. Make sure to check the Creatives in Residence programme, nurturing some of the best talent in London. I stop by The Flower Stall (5) on my way to work to smell their beautiful flowers. The inner space (6) is also the cutest little meditation centre in Covent Garden. I go downstairs to hide away from the world and re-energize.

MY SEVEN DIALS: Taryn is founder of urbanjunkies.com, the free newsletter and website for arts, fashion, lifestyle, bars and restaurants, entertainment and design in London. Kidrobot (1) is one of the only stores that I like to visit that makes me feel like a kid again. Although I admit I’ve never actually bought anything from Coco De Mer (2) yet, one day I will own a piece of Bordelle lingerie; if only to wear around the house. I love a cheeky night at the Covent Garden Hotel (3) opposite, it feels so luxurious and personal. ‘Tempura spicy dahl inari pocket on caramelised coconut with fried plantain and pickled green papaya’ at Kopapa (4)? Yes please. Pix (5) is also great for afternoon tapas with Rosé Cava. L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon (6) is the sexiest bar in London, and my top pick for a hot date spot. But for a late dinner The Ivy (7) always has comfort food that hits the spot, and the people watching isn’t bad either.

03 BRENDAN MURDOCK

MY SEVEN DIALS: Brendan, founder of Murdock, lives in Shoreditch and works in Seven Dials, Covent Garden at their head offices and store on Monmouth Street. My favourite place has to be Monmouth Coffee Company (1), it’s the best in London and the perfect way to start the day before I open up Murdock (2). The Covent Garden Hotel (3) is cosy and Brasserie Max (4) serves good wines. It’s a pleasure to watch the world go by from their outside tables right on Monmouth Street. Neal’s Yard Dairy (5) is the best for cheeses from around the British Isles. I always stop there on a Friday afternoon for supplies if I’m entertaining at the weekend. Orla Kiely (6) has a fantastic selection of gifts and accessories and I often treat my mum and sisters to something from their bright collection. Donmar Warehouse (7), is without doubt, the most exciting theatre in London. It’s a really intimate venue with superb stars treading the boards.
