BCX Internship Programme 2012

PURPOSE OF THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME: Business Connexion is committed to the development of the youth and unemployed and in pursuit of that, will be embarking on the implementation of the next Internship Programme which is scheduled to commence on 01 February 2012. The purpose of the programme is to address the critical and scarce skills within the Business Areas of BCX and will be supported by the Media, Information, Communication and Technology Sector Education and Training Authority (MICT SETA). DURATION OF THE PROGRAMME: The duration of the programme will be eight (8) months focussing on both work­based experiential learning and technical classroom training. TARGET GROUP: The programme will focus mainly on the unemployed youths in possession of a degree/diploma in IT/Informatics/Engineering and who have not participated in any internship and/or learnership in the past.

Diploma/Degree in IT/B Comm Informatics, BSc Computer Science Diploma/Degree in IT, CCNA an added advantage Degree/Diploma, A+,N+ would be an added advantage Degree/Diploma in Project Management Diploma in Human Resources B Comm Informatics, Industrial Engineering Degree, Diploma in Business Process Analysis Diploma/Degree (Business Management, Sales or Marketing Diploma in Office Management B Tech/M Tech in Engineering Diploma/Degree in IT/Marketing/Business Management National Senior Certificate with Information/Computer Studies Degree with Computer Science and Maths as major subject Diploma in Finance Diploma in Journalism


ALLOWANCE FOR INTERNS: All successful interns will be employed for the duration of the programme and will be paid a monthly allowance. The allowance will be R 4000.00 per month.
