Flip Teaching: A workshop designed to explore how video

technology can be used to enhance learning. Instead of delivering content in class and then asking students to attempt questions at home we aim to do the opposite; deliver content by video for homework freeing up class time for inquiry, question practice etc when students need guidance

Theory and content in any subject can be delivered by online video

What is flip (reverse) teaching and how do we do it at Sha Tin College?

Some examples

Global warming

Orbital motion

So is it rigorous ?

Think of a lesson which you could flip. • What would you include in your video? • What activities would you plan for the lesson? • How would the students access these activities?
