Letter from the Publisher We have all been through so much this past year. We have learned about ourselves, other people and how to listen. We have learned that we need each other. One of my favorite quotes is from Helen Keller. I loved reading about her story and watching a movie about her life as a child. It impressed upon me how thankful we should be for what we have and how much you can accomplish when you put your mind to and have help. The quote - “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.” In our last issue, we talked about creating your own destiny. How can this be accomplished? By cultivating confidence, taking a leap of faith, believing in yourself and by simply being intrepid. Fear will keep you mentally crippled. Perhaps you have wanted to start a business, get a side hustle, write a book, start a blog or a podcast. Trust me when I tell you, the features in this magazine will inspire and encourage you to move forward and create your own destiny.

Editor’s Note Six years ago, I met my husband and every day since I have worried about his safety. I cry when I think about all that my husband has already faced as a black man; knowing that our son will likely face some of the same hatred. My heart breaks for every single black person; what it must be like to look at your home and see it filled with such hate for you and those that look like you. As a mother and a wife, I am personally invested in this movement, but as a human being I feel so desperate to amplify the voices of those who have gone unheard. I will never know what it means to be black; but I will fight alongside the black community and do everything in my power to help move our country to a place that I am proud to call home. Your voice matters; your experience matters. And you are so very loved. #BlackLivesMatter

Q&A Ask the Experts
Clearing Out Mental Blocks That Prevent You from Being Successful!
By: Lauren D’Ath – Business Mindset Coach Do you have big dreams but lack the motivation or keep procrastinating instead of achieving them? The only thing that stands in the way of us becoming a successful version of ourselves- is quite literally ourselves. This unfortunately comes down to mental blocks. Mental blocks can manifest itself as writer’s block, procrastination, scarcity, exhaustion, confusion, irritability or sometimes perfectionism. The aim of the game is to take action on your dreams and show up everyday for yourself, but this doesn’t come as smoothly as people may hope. It takes a lot of hard work, determination, and confidence to get to where you want to be in life. You can ask any successful entrepreneur and they will tell you it takes pure action and a strong mindset to get anywhere. So, how can you envelop this energy every day to reach your goals? What’s the secret? What if I told you that you already know what’s wrong? The problem is you’re ignoring yourself and not listening to the answer. Most of the time the reasons why we stop ourselves from becoming successful is really because we are afraid. Afraid to do something out of our comfort zone, afraid to share our business to many people, afraid to talk to clients/customers or to network, terrified of putting ourselves out there every day. To become successful, we must first learn to become consistently uncomfortable to take action, and when we 18 WQMagazine.com
are uncomfortable, we must also learn how to be confident to move forward and strive. Make a list of everything you need or want to do even if it scares you, listing everything that will get you close to where you want to be. The take that list and accomplish 1 thing a day. You’ll find when you get started, you’ll keep going, and each thing will become easier over time until it feels entirely natural. Confidence is something that can’t be achieved. People think “if I get this one thing, I will be confident then” but you can achieve that one thing you always thought would give you the confidence you need and still gain no confidence at all. Confidence is created, and one extraordinary way to break through blocks is taking on each day acting as if you are incredibly confident until one day it becomes a habit. To remove all mental blocks, you need to just take action anyway, keep going, and the motivation and creativity will come flowing back.

Reader’s Reviews The Mario Badescu facial spray is a hydrating formula that you spray on your face and neck to help moisturize your skin. I absolutely love this product. I started using Mario Badescu’s facial spray about 2 years ago and is it by far my favorite product to help lock in moisture in my face. Before I started using this facial spray, I battled with my skin being very dry and flakey after I washed my face and then very oily after I used other moisturizers. This caused my acne to become worse and I was at a loss. Now, ever since I started using this facial spray, my skin has never looked better. The light mist evenly covers my face and moisturizes it without making my skin oily for the rest of the day. This product is also great for using after you have applied makeup. The spray helps create a dewy look and I have also found that it acts as a makeup setting spray without clogging your pores. This product comes in different sizes and scents. There are options for either 4 oz or 8 oz bottles. The different scents are Herbs and Rosewater, Cucumber and Green tea, Chamomile and Lavendar, and Sage and Orange Blossom. These products can be found online at the Mario Badescu website or most beauty stores like Sephora, Ulta Beauty, or Nordstrom. 20 WQMagazine.com

Extended Hugs
About Us Extended Hugs is a nonprofit business committed to supporting those who are unfairly denied the firm foundation needed for a successful life. We strive to resolve the painful experiences endured by thousands who often get overlooked by society. Those who are unfortunate, but not so much so that there is a high demand to rectify the problem. The people who often need the help may appear to be doing just fine. In many cases, their hardship is due to some sort of extreme circumstance that they were not financially prepared for. These same individuals when seeking assistance, are often turned away by large organizations because they may not be “desperate” enough or meet certain strict requirements. Extended Hugs makes no attempts to save the world. However, through the support of generous people, we know we can change lives.

Blog Spotlight Heather Pillman Ever since I was a little girl I wanted to help as many people as I possibly could. I wanted to create a place where people were not afraid to share their stories and not be ashamed of the consequences of what people would think. I wanted to create a place where people could gain confidence and handle their mental health. I wanted to create something I could put all of the negative things I went through and inspire people with it. I wanted people who are going through similar things to know that it does get better. It may take some time, but it will get better. There were many times were my own personal mental health affected so many aspects of my life and took total control over my life. My mental health took over my emotions, my head, and my thoughts. Everything I did revolved around my mental health. I have been through addiction, abuse, rape, suicide, but the hardest thing I have ever had to deal with was my mental health. My mental health was so affected by the abuse, addiction, rape, suicide, and much more that it made my mental health suffer. I wanted the voices of those like mine of those who have been abused and raped to matter. I want our voices screamed as loud as they can until we are heard. I want those who are struggling with addiction to know that it does get better with time. If you believe in yourself and put the time in, you will get clean. I created Motivational Bloggerz to help as many people as I could. To give people a place where they do not have to worry about what others think. Where I can give people tips and ideas on how to cope and manage their mental health. I use my own personal experiences to help other people who might be too scared to share their stories, the confidence to share their stories. The best thing anyone can do for themselves is to help and gain tools to better your mental health. 27 WQMagazine.com
Motivational Bloggerz will not stop until there is no more stigma surrounding mental health and until all our voices are heard. Please support Motivational Bloggerz so that we can continue to bring awareness and stop the stigma by following the link below: Motivational Bloggerz Website: motivationalbloggerz.wordpress.com

Man of the Hour Our Man of the Hour is Todd Anthony Tyler. Globally recognized fashion and advertising photographer, reality TV show judge and former model. In our Interview with Todd -he talks marriage, parenting, living a healthy lifestyle and more. You seem like a modern-day renaissance man, is that true? I think modern day renaissance man - would be a fairly good description of what I do overall. Which is interesting to me as this was what my high school guidance teacher was calling me. Looks like she was pretty on the money with that. I would credit the description to two main reasons, one being that I have always had a very wide scope of interest and was somewhat equally as proficient at all of these interests so I always felt like why not try to schedule myself to explore it all. There is only one life to live, as far as I am currently aware of. The second reason is that I have found in the modern-day business/work market that one of my mottos of adapt or die has done me well. I am always trying to keep it real with myself on when it is necessary to pivot. To date that has found me enjoying a notable fashion and advertising career, working both in front and behind the camera on TV productions. Either owning in full or as a partner of several businesses and increasingly finding my place in the social media scene, both in support of companies and my own role as an influencer. Relationships take work. What are the building blocks and components that have worked for you and your wife? Yes, there is no doubt that even the most solid of relationships take you putting in time, compromise, understanding, being supportive and some good old-fashioned love. One of the main components of our marriage that has made us stay strong and together came right from the start of the relationship when a conversation on us just wanting to be where the other person is, set the tone of how we felt and thought. No doubt, trust, faith, good communication with each other are strong factors, but 29 WQMagazine.com
the somewhat simple idea of just being together has been the core of us staying together. Those shared experiences - even simply daily ones go a long way in forming a lasting relationship. I know
“The most solid of relationships take you putting in time, compromise, understanding, being supportive and some good oldfashioned love.”
not everyone has a life that can perhaps have couples together as much as we do, but that has been what works for us. It can be quite easy for couples to start to form separate lives when they are not together - especially for long periods of time.
Those separate lives can end up having a life of their own completely removed from your spouse which then can turn into something divisive. With my son now, I always find that sharing as much as possible taking care of him is very good for our relationship. My wife does a lot with him, especially as she is still breastfeeding and there are times when one parent is best at doing something then two pulling at the baby, but being present for baby carrying and diaper changing is very important in understanding each other and once again shared experience. Now that you are a parent, how has this influenced your decisions? I admit I was not one pining away to be a father. I was ok with the idea that I might never be a father or that I have so many things going on that maybe a child just doesn’t work with my lifestyle. Now that I am a father, I don’t know how I could have ever thought that. Yes, having a baby changes your life. It is true about the sleep for sure - 8 hours of sleep does not exist anymore. He is almost a year old and I have not had any solid sleep for a year ... ha ha. Decision wise I would say I am much more aware of the responsibility to be present as a father. I have always been Mr. Adventure - skydiving, scuba diving, bungee jumping, barreling down a hill on my mountain bike - kind of grab the world by the package and give it a swing kind of a guy. Now, I am thinking I need to be around for many years to come. I want to be here for him, I want to see him grow up, I want to spend all my time with him. Now the thrill for me is the wonder in his eyes when he sees something new, all the firsts and just that moment when he holds you tight and you feel unconditional love. What would you say started your passion for photography? Passion for photography comes from my natural desire to create. I have always been of an artist’s mind even though I majored in Biology and Anthropology. Since I was young, I always was into artistic endeavors, drawing, painting, sculpting - I just loved the creative process. Luckily my mother introduced me to photography at a young age by buying me a little point and shoot camera. I become obsessed with framing my world through the viewfinder and composition. That was the time when we still have a little magic of shooting film, so

the process of going out and framing, composing, shooting and then the excitement of getting your photos back to see what you had captured bit me right away. I didn’t see photography as a career until later in life because I also never desired to be a starving artist, but when I put together that my entrepreneurial interests could be combined with my photography skills, I took my keen hobby to the professional level. After 20 years I still have the passion to shoot - one of my happiest moments is when I have the camera in my hand and I am framing up a shot and shooting away.

family life. However, for a city to live in I am a big fan of New York. I feel immediately at home in New York. I have lived in Manhattan and Brooklyn and I do prefer to live in Manhattan as I just love to walk everywhere. I could write a book though on all the places I have been lucky to experience as they all have their own unique pluses.
What is your favorite quote, why?
There are several quotes but there is more so a poem that is my favorite - I carried this poem in my pocket even before I was a father. It seems like it would do people well these days to read this poem once-in-a-while.
IF by Rudyard Kipling If you can keep your head when all about you Are losing theirs and blaming it on you, If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you, But make allowance for their doubting too; If you can wait and not be tired by waiting, Or being lied about, don’t deal in lies, Out of all the places you have traveled to – which one would be your favorite and why?
Or being hated, don’t give way to hating,
Just to put a bit of context for where I am coming from, I have been lucky enough to have travelled and lived in over 30 countries. So, a fair amount of reference on the difference in places to be. If you are like me and just love to travel and explore new places for the pure joy of it, I still love Thailand my immediate memories of my time in Thailand are just simple fun, mixed with history, jungles and beautiful beaches. Thailand is overall a great vacation, let’s just get out there and explore and have a good time. On the more romantic side of things, I like Paris. I have been to Paris about 10 times now and every time I still have the same warm and fuzzy romantic feeling about the city. Perhaps I wouldn’t want to live in Paris full time, but as a travel destination for a couple, I would say Paris- even if it seems like a cliched place to go. If we are talking about overall living it is hard to beat Canada on all of the positive points for general living, safety and

And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise:
If you can think—and not make thoughts your aim; If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster And treat those two impostors just the same; If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools, Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
Tell us your best healthy lifestyle tips.
And stoop and build ’em up with worn-out tools: If you can make one heap of all your winnings And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss, And lose, and start again at your beginnings And never breathe a word about your loss; If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew To serve your turn long after they are gone, And so hold on when there is nothing in you Except the Will which says to them: ‘Hold on!’ If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue, Or walk with Kings—nor lose the common touch,
To me there is no doubt one of the best things you can do for yourself is take care of your health. Good health is like having money in the bank. We all often get caught up so much in all the things we are supposed to do every day that we don’t take time to take care of ourselves both physically and mentally. I am not saying not to enjoy your life, but live with balance. I am a big fan of trying all different types of cuisine and greatly enjoy trying different beers and whisky, a lot of times people think because I stay fit I only workout and eat salad which is not true. My tips are based on scheduling or planning. Schedule physical fitness activities for yourself each week. I have my gym time or runs in my schedule as a meeting. Staying healthy is a very important meeting that should not be superseded by crossing more things off the to do list. The same goes for eating - most meals I eat a balanced meal of healthy choices from lean sources of protein to complex carbs and healthy fats while generally drinking water. However, then I have my times during the week where I enjoy a few drinks - eat pizza and burgers or whatever it is I would like to indulge in. How to Let Go of Your Overeating Without Years of Therapy
By: Lara Badiali, Life with Lara Coaching You know that overeating is bad for you. It causes a series of physical problems (your stomach enlarges itself beyond the normal size and pushes against the other organs when you eat too much – that is why you feel that discomfort after a heavy meal). You know that overeating is bad for you because everybody tells you it is. It’s on magazines, it’s on the news, it is the number one cause of death in America (and globally, obesity killed way more than COVID). Yet nobody tells you HOW to completely fight it. They tell you what to do – “buy this new supplement” and “join this new programme”. (If they told you HOW they wouldn’t make any money..). Cheers to Keto, Paleo, Intermittent Fasting and Juicing. Cheers to all those diets you have tried and they never worked. Cheers to you, reading this article and knowing there must be a way to release that extra weight. I truly appreciate you for taking one more step towards loving yourself. There is something that nobody tells you and it is the number one thing that will help you shed those pounds and take control over your body. When I lost 20kg, I started getting asked questions on HOW I did it. This was my answer: 4 green teas a day, no carbs after 3 pm and exercise (cardio + weights) at least 3 times a week (THIS WORKS!!) I started to coach women - some followed my plan to the T and achieved the body of their dreams, but others didn’t. I didn’t know - so I looked for the solution. Jump forward 2 years’ time: I don’t give women exercises and meal plans anymore. I give them something way more valuable: I teach them how to master their mind. 34 WQMagazine.com
The main cause of your overeating is your FEELINGS. Yes – there is a DIRECT connection between your mindset and the food you are ingesting! When you learn how to take control of your feelings, you can achieve anything you want. That is why some women give up, and some stick to the plan. With my emotional self-regulator method, I coach women to feel themselves and truly take ownership of their body and life. Breaking the Shackles of FEAR By: Shveta S., Untethered Goddess Have you ever heard a voice whispering to you, “Hey, Speak up! That’s not what you mean” But out of fear, you pushed it away pretending that you muted that voice?
Embarking the journey inwards for years, I became aware and conscious that:
A few years ago, that was me feeling strangulated, oppressed, and shackled as if something beneath the layers was screaming for help, and I acted oblivion to it. Being groomed in a culture where my conditioning got so intertwined in the DNA and I onboarded dysfunctional patterns, self-limiting beliefs, social bias, and societal expectations.
•
There was no distinction between my needs and what society needs from me. It percolated impacts in all spheres of my life, creating unhealthy relationships with myself and others. In that purgatory, I felt in the tight grip of fear. FEAR - the best acquaintance during those years would alarm me if I ever I would desire to follow my heart. FEAR kept me safe from boarding the unchartered territory for years. • • • • • •
Fear of rejection Fear of abandonment Fear of being unloved. Fear of being judged Fear of stepping out of comfort zone And many more
I sneaked under the cloak for years to blend in as I was scared to show myself raw and vulnerable. It closed my heart with a great well-polished veil that seemed dream-like from the outside. But who knew, beneath that beautiful mask, was a girl who desperately wanted to be untethered from FEAR.

My past experiences influenced my current state. The inner calling to honor myself surpassed all fears. The journey to yourself is the longest, but there is no other way I would want it to be. I could heal and be FREE of those fears. I naturally own inner strength and power. I can step into my power with courage. I do not need external validation to feel worthy and loved. I will choose TRUTH over FEAR no matter how terrifying it gets. I can fulfill my desires, and the past can no longer hold me back. I no longer need to mask my authentic self.

On the Cover Heather Monahan is a best-selling author, keynote speaker, TedX speaker, Executive Coach and has most recently been appointed to the Board of Directors of Healthlynked Corp.
Having successfully climbed the corporate ladder for nearly 20 years, Heather Monahan is one of the few women to break the glass ceiling and claim her spot in the C-suite. As a Chief Revenue Officer in Media, Heather Monahan is a Glass Ceiling Award winner, named one of the most Influential Women in Radio in 2017 and Thrive Global named her a Limit Breaking Female Founder in 2018. Heather was named one of the Top 40 Female Keynote Speakers for 2020 by Real Leaders. Her TedX talk was promoted to TED and translated into 6 languages. Harper Collins Leadership is publishing her new book Leapfrogging Villains in 2021.
What led up to you writing Confidence Creator?
Getting fired! After 20 years in Corporate America, I had finally made it to the C-suite. My job as Chief Revenue Officer was not an easy one. During my tenure at the company, I had more than doubled the annual revenues in excess of $200M annually when my position was eliminated. I had been promoted three times and had just been named one of the most influential women in radio when the CEO I worked for became ill and decided to elevate his daughter to replace him. She fired me immediately. That day was devastating. When I finally stopped crying, I realized I needed to take action and post that I had just been fired. That post went viral and landed me on the Elvis Duran Show. Halfway through that interview Elvis Duran said, “Heather, obviously you are writing a book!” The funny thing is I wasn’t writing a book at the time but his confidence in me transferred to me and I started writing Confidence Creator. 43 WQMagazine.com
What is your favorite quote and why?
Fire Your Villains! And yes, that is my quote. The day that woman thought she fired me I realized I had just fired my villain. So many people don’t realize what a massive impact a negative person can have in your life. Having a villain in your space affects you mentally, physically and definitely impacts your confidence. Firing your villain is the key to set you up to take off!
“That day was devastating. When I finally stopped crying, I realized I needed to take action”
What challenges have you faced during covid-19? I joke with my friends that people living in a big home with a boat and a spouse they like are living their best covid lives. However, my son and I live in a small 2-bedroom condo in a high rise. Living in a building during a pandemic is definitely challenging. The speaking business was my primary revenue stream when Covid hit. That was a tough hit however getting fired 3 years prior allowed me to have a different perspective. I knew if I took action and moved fast, I could reinvent myself. I jumped on my peloton and started asking myself what problem can I solve for people from my home and through my computer. That is when I began my virtual speaking career and my consulting and executive coaching business. I also pitched myself to an agent 14 times and was told no every time until the 15th pitch when I finally got a YES! My agent landed me a book deal with Harper Collins Leadership and my new book Overcome Your Villains is coming out in November. My son has been in virtual school since the pandemic hit which has been really challenging. I never wanted to be a zoom school lunch lady but somehow, we made it work.

Being a mother can be both challenging and rewarding – In what ways has being a mother changed you? Motherhood has been the biggest blessing and gift in my life. Before my son was born, I was not very understanding as a leader. Being a mom taught me to see everyone as the child of a mother and see their potential. I began leading with empathy and vulnerability and that is when I really started to realize success in the workplace. Being a mother also taught me to put myself first. I realized if I didn’t do a great job taking care of me, I would be setting the wrong example for my son. If I wanted to have energy to play with my son, I would need to make my workouts a priority first. Deciding to care for myself as my top priority has been a game changer. Out of everyone you have interviewed on your show, which interview stands out the most? Having the opportunity to interview Sara Blakely and Jesse Itzler together was unbelievable! They are both incredibly strong, talented and funny and it was such a blast spending time with them. It was also so nice to see a couple so in love with each other.
“Motherhood has been the biggest blessing and gift in my life.” Tell us about your 30-day accountability partner program. After writing my book Confidence Creator, I had a lot of people asking me what is next. They wanted more. So, I launched my podcast Creating Confidence, and I launched my video course and accountability program. Everything that I have created is designed to help my community hold themselves accountable to achieve their goals and push themselves to the next level. The 30-day program is a daily email that challenges them to stop apologizing, overcome imposter syndrome and drop the idea that perfectionism is anything other than fear.

Q&A
mentioned going through a dark period in Q: You your marriage. What advice can you share? feel so cliché saying this but communication, A: Icommunication, communication. Not only just
is your favorite quote and Q: What why? favorite quote (I actually Q: A: “My have it tattooed on me) is “Lions don’t concern themselves with the opinions of sheep” I love that quote because it reminds me that no matter what anyone says, I need to stay true to my own path. It doesn’t matter if I am a warrior, like a lion, if I let everyone’s opinions affect me. I choose to stand my ground and follow my dreams staying true to myself.” What life skills did you learn while being in the USAF?
A:
Q: the most basic life skill A: “Ithatthink I learned in the USAF was
the ability to be independent. I moved out at sixteen, but always depended on a roommate, or a boyfriend and when I entered in the military, it was the first time I truly did something on my own. The military pulled me out of my comfort zone, allowed me to travel and experience other cultures, and through that I gained a sense of confidence and independence that I don’t think any other profession would grant me.”
being a mother and wife Q: Since what changes have you seen in
A:
yourself? “I have learned to be more confident in myself. I know that my husband and my children are not only looking up to me but are depending on me. I want to instill that drive and fearlessness in my children, so they always feel compelled to follow their dreams without doubt.”

Q: A:
speaking what you feel the other wants to hear, but really diving down to understand what makes both people happy. I also think it is so important to have respect towards each other, even in times of anger, your tongue can be the poison that kills your marriage and it almost did that to mine. We love the fact that you are now pursuing your dreams. Tell us about that and what you hope to accomplish. “It has been a very long road. I always felt selfdoubt and unsure about my talents and my dreams. Some people along the way encouraged me, but a lot of people felt music was a pastime and not a career. Unfortunately, I listened to them and let that fear consume me. After spending a decade in the military and watching so many other artists really take those chances and follow their dreams, I decided that I would no longer care what anyone else said and pursued this lifelong dream for myself and my family. I hope to eventually have a supporting fan base and hopefully get a record deal to pursue country music, so that I could share my music with anyone who needs to hear it. I also would love to be able to have this career as my full-time career and still support my family.” As a Deputy Commander for Cyber Security, what is the most common threat you see or what are some of the more common mistakes people make online? “I think one of the largest threats, that I can talk about, is the Social Media threat. As technology and the social media world is ever evolving, it is making it easier for predators to not only gain critical information on its user, but also adds a layer of psychological threat that I feel we are starting to see the effects of in today’s society. One of the most critical mistakes I see users making in regard to Social Media, is number one their privacy setting has not been changed to protect their personal data or their personal profiles. Another threat is that I see users putting their exact locations or plans for the evening or week on Social Media which leaves users vulnerable to physical and virtual attacks.” Website: www.breejaxson.com Instagram: @breejaxsonmusicofficial Spotify: Bree Jaxson Interview Credit: Ilene Carol

Website&Spotlight GenXWoman is a digital media company for Gen X women by Gen X women. It is a destination for entertainment, education and most importantly inspiration tailored to the amazing women of Generation X.
How it all started: GenXWoman was born from the bond of two Generation X women, Dena K. Martines and Megan E. Fox, who were frustrated with the negative and often depressing narrative about Gen X women. If you type ‘Gen X women’ into Google, you’ll come face-to-face with a clamor of opinion about their exhaustion-fueled midlife crisis. From one daunting headline to another, the few articles written on Gen X women explore their predicament as they stumble into midlife feeling exhausted, disillusioned, and sleepless. For GenXWoman co-founders, Dena and Megan, however, midlife is not a crisis, it is a second coming! A beginning, not an end! And while the many struggles that Gen X women are experiencing in midlife are very well documented and their bond created from shared misery is very well cemented, their dreams and aspirations are nowhere to be found and neither are any real solutions to their plight. So IGenXWoman.com was created to reframe the narrative around Generation X women and reforge their bonds around their aspirations, achievements, and solutions to their common struggles.
Our Vision: We are committed to creating a community for Gen X women, a place where they feel heard. A place that inspires them with uplifting and solution-oriented content tailored for them so they can still dare to go after their dreams and realize their full potential.

Our Mission:: We believe that Gen X women have the right to claim their place and forge their legacy in the world. Therefore, we challenge the prevailing narrative of Generation X. No longer “slackers”, we are “world changers”. No longer voiceless, we will be heard. No longer exhausted, we want to be vibrant and energized. No longer stuck and resigned, we are ready to rise up, strong and empowered, and take our rightful place as creators, innovators, and leaders.
Join Us: The time is now to counter limiting ex-
pectations thrust upon so many Gen X women and make the conscious decision to join this revolution, this second coming, and share your story, offer inspiration and guidance, and use your voice to be part of changing the Gen X narrative.

Trish the Dish Trish was inspired to start a podcast that showcased GenXers that have lived far from slacker lives because she saw that generation’s voice was completely missing from conversations. It quickly turned into a desire to have voices from all generations in order to have generational awareness in which ageism could be unpacked and hopefully done away with. Trish has lived all over the US, England and France and traveled all over Canada, Europe, Morocco, Mexico and the US, taught French for ten years and currently works with GenZ at a university. It’s this awareness of the world and having worked with so many generations that gives her passion for bridging generations together. Visit www.genxvoice.com
