The Terrace is also introducing themed food nights starting with the Lamu Tamu Night every Thursday for coastal delicacies and for the meat lovers Rib Eye Fridays. PLANTATION Life on a budget just got easier! Come over to the Plantation on Weekdays between 9 a.m.-10 a.m. for coffee and a pastry at only Kshs. 600. If you’re looking for something a little stronger, we also have an offer on glasses of our wines of the month every Wednesday from 5 p.m. “My night has become a sunny dawn because of you.” Carrot Cake Day on the 3rd of February is the perfect way to enter the month of love; on a sugar high and spoiled for choice! Demolish delicious desserts as the Plantation introduces daring combinations of savoury and sweet dishes that will tantalise your taste buds this February. For the best of both worlds try the chocolate salami; a Portuguese and Italian dessert made from cocoa, broken biscuits, butter, eggs and a bit of port wine or rum that gives it the distinct look of salami. It will be served with delicious dipped strawberries. Or Lamb chops with chilli chocolate sauce which is a different take on a normal chocolate sauce as it combines the sweetness and bitterness of dark chocolate with the spiciness of red chilies. Compliment either dish with a glass of the Plantation wines of the month which are the sweet cherry and berry flavours overlaid with soft, smoky, aromatic tannins Nabygelegen Merlot and the supple and elegant Nabygelegen Lady Anna.
