This terminology was resulted from the 2012 & 2013 Namhansanseong International symposiums taken place in Namhansanseong, Republic of Korea with the cooperation of ICOFORT experts, ISBH member, other international experts and korean experts on military architecture. Every participant carried out site survey before defining terminology. The Terminology is hierarchically classified to three different levels which are big, middle and small level.
