About This Position

The Digital Strategist and Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for supporting and executing multi-channel marketing strategies to drive quality prospective student populations to apply and ultimately accept ICSW’s offer of admission. In collaboration with the Associate Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management, the Digital Strategist and Social Media Coordinator is responsible for social media planning and digital communication execution management across the institution’s academic degree programs

Job Responsibilities

• Creates strategic content, including writing and/or editing for a wide range of written, online/digital, and other print/visual communications materials across multiple channels for diverse audiences.

• Responsible for social copywriting, social content calendaring and publishing, and community management.

• Develops images and video content for ICSW promotions, social media, and web-based promotions.

• Works closely with the Associate Director of Admissions to drive outreach strategy and assists with marketing and communications efforts to prospective students.

• Produces reports and ROI analysis, including measurement and metrics analysis, insights, and articulating opportunities for increased brand awareness and website improvement (search engine optimization, regular website audits)

Minimum Qualifications & Competencies:

• Bachelor’s degree, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience from which comparable skills can be acquired.

• 2-5 years of experience working with small to mid-sized higher education institutions or nonprofit organizations as a social media strategist or social/digital media manager.

• Demonstrated mastery across social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, YouTube) and proficiency in digital applications such as Squarespace, Google Suite, Microsoft Office, etc.

• Some experience with common graphic design tools, such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, and InDesign.

• Familiarity with search engine marketing and optimization, web analytics and technologies, digital media planning and content/social media management.

• Strong analytical skills and experience analyzing metrics to track success and inform future strategies.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
