FALL 2021, FACULTY SEARCH PART-TIME, NON-TENURE TRACK, 12 MONTH APPOINTMENTS

The Institute for Clinical Social Work (ICSW) is seeking experienced research and clinical faculty qualified to teach in both the Masters’ and PhD programs. Faculty positions are part-time, non-tenure-track, 12-month appointments. Faculty members will be offered teaching and other assignments such as student advising/consulting as needed and based on qualifications and course openings. Faculty members are expected to contribute a minimum of three hours per month, be on a faculty committee or otherwise contribute to the functioning of the Institute, attend faculty meetings and commit to ongoing professional development. Faculty will report to the Academic Dean and to Faculty members designated by the Academic Dean.

Qualifications  Research Faculty Appointments o Research scholars who have expertise in and/or knowledge of clinical research which includes applied qualitative and quantitative methodology and data analysis. o Experience teaching research methods courses preferred. o Ability to aid doctoral students with clinical research by serving on dissertation committees.

 Clinical Faculty Appointments o Practitioner scholars who have demonstrated clinical and supervisory knowledge of psychodynamic theory and practice.  Fluency in psychodynamic theoretical orientations including, but not limited to, self psychology, relational, object relations, interpersonal.


 Experience providing supervision/consultation in psychodynamic technique essential  Teaching psychodynamic theory and practice in-person or online preferred.  All applicants must possess a commitment to marginalized populations and social justice. Credentials: PhD, DSW or Master’s Degree in social work or psychology with advanced psychodynamic postgraduate training/education. Applicants must have an active clinical license and malpractice insurance.
