These wall paper panels are not commercial wallpapers, but are fine art facsimile digitally restored copies of 18th and 19th century originals held in important private collections.

Made on commission only using high quality acid free art papers and water based inks.

We can produce these bespoke papers to fit your interior scheme. As shown 4 meters wide x 2.2 meters high fitted to cupboard doors.

Chinese wallpapers throughout the 18th and 19th centuries. Many are still fitted as they were intended.

We have other scenes measuring up to 4 meters in height and 14 meters wide repeatable scenes.

Digitally restored these new papers offer a faithful revived copy of original antique papers while preserving small imperfections and reconstructing larger areas of damage.

Condition:

The original of this Chinese wallpaper was installed in Carton House, Ireland in 1759. The room scheme consists of several similar panels, this one is one of the larger scenes (shown behind the bed) showing daily life amongst hills and villages within woodland and streams.

This scene is almost 4 meters tall and 14 meters wide. It can be adjusted to your room.

The images below show the surface texture, and the this pattern can run from the floor or the dado.
