RENEWABLES IS A FAST GROWING SECTOR AND WE’RE WORKING HARD TO HELP YOU MAXIMISE THE EXCITING OPPORTUNITIES IT PRESENTS. Our Solar and Electric Vehicle (EV) division, provides expert advice and supplies a comprehensive range of flexible, worldleading renewable technologies for residential and commercial applications. We have solar systems to suit all requirements and budgets from 2kW, generally suited to smaller homes through to 5kW, ideal for larger residences and smaller commercial premises. There is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to solar power systems, with building size, energy use and the lifestyle of the home or business owner key to choosing the right solution. People sometimes fall into the trap of thinking because they have a larger home, they will need a larger system; when the reverse is sometimes true. If homeowners are not there during the day and utilising the energy generated when the sun is shining, a smaller system may be a better solution. Conversely, parents at home with young children in a smaller home may get a faster return on investment by choosing a larger system. The application is more important than the size of the property when it comes to solar.
The inverter is the heart of any solar system by transferring the power created by the solar panels on the roof to the electrical power for the home. SMA has a comprehensive range of inverters on the market. The brand has been around since 1981, which gives our clients a lot of comfort. The modular nature of the system is a significant benefit, with people able to start with a solar solution to meet their immediate needs, then add to it over time. For on-grid vs off-grid Sunnyboy storage and Sunny Island inverters can be added at any point, as well as batteries for people wanting to go completely off-grid, or store energy for later use. Sungrow has emerged as a significant industry leader since being founded in 1997. With over 1000 employees and 87GW of inverters installed globally , Sungrow is widely regarded as one of the best manufacturers of residential String and Hybrid inverters from 3kW up to Commercial & Industrial (C&I) scale 250kW.

KEY FEATURES OF SMA SMART CONNECTED The integrated service for ease and comfort SMA Smart Connected* is the free monitoring of the inverter via the SMA Sunny Portal. If there is an inverter fault, SMA proactively informs the PV system operator and the installer. This saves valuable working time and costs. With SMA Smart Connected, the installer benefits from rapid diagnoses by SMA. They can thus quickly rectify the fault and score points with the customer thanks to the attraction of additional services.
ACTIVATION OF SMA SMART CONNECTED During registration of the system in the Sunny Portal, the installer activates SMA Smart Connected and benefits from the automatic inverter monitoring by SMA
AUTOMATIC INVERTER MONITORING SMA automatically checks the individual inverters for anomalies around the clock during operation. Every customer thus benefits from SMA’s long years of experience.
PROACTIVE COMMUNICATION IN THE EVENT OF FAULTS After a fault has been diagnosed and analyzed, SMA informs the installer and end customer immediatell. This minimizes the downtime and saves time and money.
6
REPLACEMENT SERVICE If a replacement device is necessary, SMA automatically supplies a new inverter within days of the fault diagnosis.
PERFORMANCE SERVICE The PV system operator can claim compensation from SMA if the replacement inverter cannot be delivered within 3 days.
