The small Final took place between Piciu and Nano, the 3rd place being assumed eventually by Piciu. The Big Final brought to the same floor Bugy and Franke, band mates, after a few minutes of battle, victory being awarded to Franke, a very technical breakdancer, with plenty of attitude and original figures.
21
22
Age 22, Mihai Marian Octavian aka Franke, comes from Bacトブ and is part of the local band breakdance: Freakquency. And because every champion looks so good with a belt, Red bull took advantage of the Romanian tradition, and Franke received a belt as authentic as a romanian girdle.

24
Besides the battle’s filled with charisma, the atmosphere at Red Bull BC One Cypher Romania was maintained by MC K2nel, DJ Raffu, Dragonu & King Flou , but also a unique demonstration of Craiova’s Caluşari who managed to draw the jury’s attention.

Cristiana Stancu, age 20, Mixed Martial Arts athlete, she’s a member of CombatAnt MMA Club and of Romanian Kempo Fighting Team. The most common question I receive is - why is a girl like me practicing mixed martial arts (MMA), which is one of the toughest sports on the planet? Well, I don’t have a thorough answer to this…Still the latest World’s Kempo Tournament I took part in at the end of last week gave me some clues on why I’m loving it!

I represent CombatAnt mixed martial arts club and I was selected as a member of the Romanian Kempo Fighting Team. Kempo is the martial arts field in which I can experience the most coplex competitions to prepare me for a MMA professional career. The 9th World Kempo Championship was held in Antalya, Turkey. Three days of fighting, 38 competing countries, 520 participants (including children, juniors and seniors) and the arrival of Jeff Speakman and the legendary Benny “The Jets” Urquidez, who is one of my role models, made this championship a special event.
Fortunately,I did KO’s with spectacular high kicks and submitted when I had the occasion. Moreover,I made friends with the girls I fought with, which means that a fight is not about hate,it is just a way of expressing in which both parts try to win the battle.
The opening ceremony was very exciting for me because it gave a moment to gather myself and state in my mind the reason I was there and the “thing” that kept me going forward, over and over again.I fought in two days out of three and won on three different fight regulations. My opponents were strong and very motivated, which made me very nervous before the fights. Moreover,I could feel that many people had great expectations of me,which made me even more excited.
Nevertheless, I also had many things to learn from the other fighters who competed. One of the competitors astonished me with his fair play behaviour and detached attitude. He was one of the best fighters in the competition ,managing to submit everyone and win before time expired. That made me think about other ways of looking at things. Motivation is not all about clenched fists and to frown upon your opponent, but it can also be the joy of doing what you like best, of expressing yourself in a natural way. Therefore, I understood that concentration can settle inside yourself giving the power of smiling before you enter in a fight. What can I say, you can rarely see fighters like this, but I believe this is the beauty of true champions: that they express their qualities through their sight, their smile, their posture, thus offering an endless source of learning and improving as human.
Turning all these feelings and thoughts into prayer, canalising all my being into that one moment, trying to live only in the present at full intensity helped me succeed at this championship. Beginning and ending all my fights by making a cross over my chest makes me feel safe and secure. At this championship my trainers’ goals were to stay lucid,to show a high techique level and have a good attitude in front of my opponents.
Actually, even if when I fight I look very tough and I don’t like to speak, smile or anything else,I remember that at the former championship held in Portugal,I had a really hard submission fight-10 minutes-with a Hugarian competitor. It was so hard that all my muscles sorrowed.Clenched in the fight,I thought of how would it be if in that moment I would forget about all the pain, and just enjoy the fight without even thinking of the result?
31
And something extraordinary happened:I started to smile at my opponent and the biggest surprise:she smiled back! The result? Our fight was awesome, everyone gathered to see a beautiful fight between two girls that were taking the best out of every second. We are now friends, and I believe this is very important for me:to be able to enjoy what I do and go with this sport to the next level, higher and higher every time with the help of God,which I always feel when I am afraid,or have doubts,or lose my confidence-that He is there and backs me up all the time! For me,it is important to build a strong life statement and, along with my trainers to show that a righteous life gives you back more than any compromise.

34 If I think of creativity taken to extreme, I can say, without thinking too much, DRUM UP. These people combine percussion, theater, pantomime, improvisation, music, parody and manage to bring creativity at its peak. Today all that is common is becoming more boring. They know how to turn the show and boils blood in the room.
35 How many times have you paid large sums to have some idea of a show and left the room yawing? Well, for the performances of the DRUM UP it’s impossible. Intelligence, extreme creativity, music, energy, games and a lot more “another thing” are the main ingredients of the shows DRUM UP.

INTERVIEW
IDEAS4TALENT: Present yourself to the world. Orlando Petriceanu: Orlando Petriceanu – stage name – father, actor, director, percussionist, trainer. I have 32 years ... from tomorrow, married to actress Ramona Cutina, together we have a marvel -Catherine Anne - Princess of my heart.
37 IDEAS4TALENT: With so much time spent in College, acting, how did you come to create the DRUM UP format, which is today? Orlando Petriceanu: Well, a lot happened until today. By 2001, after two years spent in Polytechnic State College, I gave up and went back into a theater group to Priestess. From there, I went to Italy in Rome for an year in the EVS (European Voluntary Service). Here I met a band of Italian folk music (pizzica), I started playing with them on the tambourine, then through traveling, I made friends who were holding various African percussion workshops. I worked with a theater; I did street theater WOW AWESOME! I PINE FOR STREET THEATER! Actually after the street feeling I entered the Academia di Belle Arti in Rome. At that time, the Govern from Romania did not really let me study there and I returned to the country. I entered the theater, then the Puric’s band - Passepartout DP, I finished - but craving for playing the drums did not disappeared, in someshows in college or after I inserted a drum. I started to buy every 6 months one little drum, I met with Mişu, which had components of covers, I was stuffing myself some 2, 3 songs as a guest, then through the events I became friends with Adi Nour of the new Puric’s band and we decided at some point - someone actually asked us on November 29 if we have any percussion’ show on December 9 (the guy knew that I was playing for corporate events). I didn’t hesitate and I said “YES”. What did I know? ... I had nothing, so in 10 days we
designed the “DRUM UP’, which kept on developing. After two years Adi left the band - was caught in too many projects and then came the formidable Paul. IDEAS4TALENT: What or who inspired you to choose this profession? Or better yet: to create this job? Orlando Petriceanu: If you
mean “being a percussionist” I believe that ancestors – since I was small I was beating the table and the chairs.... AH! Wait. My father knows from his father who knows from his father who he knows from his father which the last one knows from a Turkish an interesting, flowing rhythm. When I heard my father singing at the table I shuddered. But it was
38
nice as my great great grandfather learned this rhythm. It’s like the movies ... During the war of independence in 1877, Turkish- Romanian, sometimes on holidays or in other days the two sides met, they came out of the trenches and, as if nothing had happened shared cheese, sweets and finally they did CULTURAL EXCHANG“, they ... and a Turkish taught my grandfather the technique and this rhythm came to me. Since then, the boy gave it to a boy ... now I pass on to a girl. IDEAS4TALENT: Why would someone start acting? Orlando Petriceanu: Well, why would someone go around the world? First of all for freedom of expression, for free rein of creation – we all have within us the creative vein. I don’t know ... it’s a calling - in any case, I don’t believe in those who start acting just for being a star or that it looks good - that is bullshitt. Acting is faith! IDEAS4TALENT: What do you feel about the Romanian public? From what I’ve seen, most people go to the movies more than the theater. Orlando Petriceanu: The romanian public is an intelligent audience – eager for theater. If it had been more theaters probably more people would have come to the theater. A beautiful public - the public from Sibiu. IDES4TALENT: The day I met you, I noticed your incredible humor. What is your secret?
Orlando Petriceanu: Our show is based on spontaneous improvisation, on what happens in that time in the room and on the public’s reaction and that the public comes to feel better – you have to pay attention to people in the room - in these interactive shows. Plus, there’s the way you operate. If you’re there at that time and you give people faith they will give back for the good mood you give them. Let’s say you throw them 100% power - spread in the hall to 100 people. 100 spectators * 100% power - returns about 10 000% energy - enough to go another 20 shows. IDEAS4TALENT: What is your life all about right now? Orlando Petriceanu: Family and career. The small one grows, develops, asks and proposes – she is SPLENDID to see. I Learn together with Ramona how to guide Ecatrina Ana. Then, on the other side, the film interests me very much at the moment, the short film “The Girl from Transylvania”, in which I have the lead role, made it’s journey through festivals (TIFF, MEDFILF, REYJKAVIK, LA, Sardinia, REGSBURG etc) ... and I want more. Then directing – I started directing a show close to my heart - a show which is closely connected with my change to the theater, to freedom.

40
IDEAS4TALENT: List the people which have influenced you? Orlando Petriceanu: Ramona Cutina, Father, Mihai Sergei Todor, Claudio Prima IDEAS4TALENT: Some do not really like what they do. Others love what they do. Why do you think this discrepancy even exist?
Orlando Petriceanu: Education at home ... When you’re told: not to do that or not other things ... since you’re small it cuts down your momentum - you start to not trust you. To love what you do means to be free to decide what and how you do it (even if you have a boss or not). Feel it. Others do not know what they want, they are afraid not to know one
41
true self. I think life is a meeting with yourself, but you must have courage to go on a first date, from there you form a strategy... IDEAS4TALENT: What do you think about Einstein’s quote: “Try not to become a man of success, but rather try to become a man of value”? Orlando Petriceanu: It should be a motto to be placed above the blackboard at school, on the toilet door, the door of the bus, on the tv’s entrance door and even in Fratelli or other of that sort.

46 The german was declared in 2011 athlete of the year in Formula 1 and this year it seems he doesn’t deny it He wants to be the best and does something every day to achieve that performance. If he sat around he would certainly be in front of the TV, watching Lewis Hamilton enjoying the glory. I always liked to see how people got where they are today. But do not think Vettel received a gift in a magical night ... No, he worked hard and didn’t give up no matter how hard it was. Vettel’s wins began in 2001 with German and European Junior karting titles. If he didn’t work, he probably would have reached the best in the schoolyard, but he targeted above and worked to get where he is today. You cannot touch a target if you do not see it! What happened? 1. Claims second place in the Formula BMW ADAC championship after winning five of the 19 races. 2. Formula BMW ADAC champion - finishes on podium in all 20 races, taking 18 victories. 3. Fifth in the Formula 3 Euro Series, declared best rookie driver after clinching five podiums. Enjoys first Formula One test with BMW Williams at Jerez. 4. Runner-up in Formula Three Euro Series after three race wins.
Competes in three World Series by Renault events, winning two. Named BMW Sauber’s Friday test and reserve driver - five successful third-driver outings. 5. Becomes sport’s youngest point scorer when he stands in for BMW’s Robert Kubica at Indy, finishing eighth. Secures full-time Toro Rosso race seat from August’s Hungarian Grand Prix and earns the team their best result to date with fourth place in China. 6. First full season of Formula One sees him become the sport’s youngest winner with a stunning wetweather victory at Monza. Finishes eighth overall with 35 points and rewarded with a switch from Toro Rosso to Red Bull’s ‘senior’ RBR team for 2009. 7. Continues to make the headlines for all the right reasons. Scores Red Bull’s maiden pole and win in China, before winning again at Silverstone and Suzuka. A final victory at the season-ending Abu Dhabi Grand Prix helps him clinch second in the drivers’ championship. 8. Despite some driver errors and technical maladies - plus tense rivalry with team mate Webber - supreme pace brings 10 poles and five victories en route to becoming youngest champion in F1 history. Comes from third in standings to clinch title with win at final round in Abu Dhabi. 9. Totally dominates for Red Bull, becoming youngest double world champion in F1 history with four rounds to spare. Scores 11 wins and a record 15 pole positions.

Vettel managed the performance as the Youngest winner, youngest race winner and the sport’s youngest champion. He said “As a sportsman, though, you’re always looking forward,” “I Need to push really hard to keep it in my house.” This vision always kept him on the podium. Thus, in April 2012 Sebastian Vettel won the Bahrain Formula 1 GrandPrix. What is going to happen next?
