Insights

The IIFT Alumni Centre is one of the Institute’s longest lasting and powerful institutions, encompassing many IIFT post graduates over the past 45 years, including several well known names in the arenas of business and economy.

IIFT’s alumni are actively engaged in the Institute’s affairs as volunteers, locally and across the world, serving in direct capacities such as the Alumni Centre, or quietly adding value through alumni-student interactivity such as the Mentorship Programme.

The Institute, through its dedication to its students during their terms within its hallowed halls, inspires the same dedication from them once they leave its premises, compelling them to return, in person or in spirit, to revisit the memories, to rekindle old friendships, and to give back, a part of their time, energy and resources, to the alma mater that has so carefully and lovingly crafted their futures. IIFT encourages its Alumni to participate in the various programs held especially for them such as Annual Alumni Chapter Meets held at both Regional (Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Chennai) and International (Singapore, Dubai, Washington DC, New York) venues. The first Saturday of November sees hundreds of IIFT Alumni come together at their Alma Mater along with their family and friends for a night filled with fun, interaction and bonhomie. As the students walk out of IIFT, they embark upon a journey to put their learnings into best use. The students of yester years look back upon their alma mater as the reason for their success while the institute looks up to them as the reason for its pride and glory.
