From The Editor’s Desk. Joe Korba Like most people, I consider myself man of principle, someone who stands by his beliefs and values no matter the oppositional forces. However, I found myself giving in to pressure last week and succumbing to the ‘e-book’ phenomenon, much to my great shame. I hate to admit it, but downloading that book has revealed my hypocrisy. For a long, long time I’ve chastised my friends who have given up the time-tested reliability and comfort of actual tangible paper books for the sleek, temptation of fancy new technology. I’m an avid reader, and have been for as long as I can remember. When I started hearing that people were eschewing books to spend even more time staring at illuminated screens I was outraged. I thought about the implications for public libraries, which are one of the few reasons I don’t mind paying taxes (those and public zoos I can get behind) and all of the charming small bookstores that I enjoy so much. I raged against change and insisted I would never betray my beloved books. Yea, you might say that I’m something of a luddite. After a few years of resistance I was reading

reviews of new non-fiction last week and began having doubts. Journalist Lawrence Wright’s new book Going Clear seemed really promising and I needed some new reading material. Being that all of the mom and pop bookshops I used to frequent are either long closed or far away and the library wasn’t open, I started rationalizing my increasingly duplicitous relationship with the printing press. This is probably how Benedict Arnold felt before defecting to the British. It was like turning my back on an old friend. Regardless, I did it. I fired up my iPad and downloaded my first ever e-book. I do have to say it’s quite convenient and nice to read in bed without keeping my lady awake. Although, punching my password into an iPad app and waiting for the download will never take the place of finding some great classic novel on a dusty shelf in a bookstore on a back alley in a college town (the only places that seem to actually have brick and mortar book stores these days) or the anticipation of waiting until a copy of some new fiction by a favorite author gets returned to my local library. I guess I’m coming to terms with change and learning to be less of a reactionary when it comes to my sacred cows, like books. Much like the Gazette, which has existed as a print publication since the Reagan administration (the #1 song on the Billboard Charts was ‘Money for Nothing’ by Dire Straits the week the Town & Country’s 1st issue debuted), I’m embracing new technology. Make sure to check out our website (www.townandcountrygazette.com) for exclusive content and friend us on facebook to join our growing community. They tell me that you can even read the current issue on a smart phone if you have one. I couldn’t tell you as I still have my old slide-phone. I’m not ready to give that up just yet…

Spring Fever

Four high school boys afflicted with spring fever skipped morning classes. After lunch they reported to the teacher that they had a flat tire. Much to their relief she smiled and said, "Well, you missed a test today so take seats apart from one another and take out a piece of paper." Still smiling, she waited for them to sit down. Then she said: "First Question: Which tire was flat?"

Tanning leather and making shoes went hand in hand. Why doesn’t the shoemaker come around any more like he always did years ago? Because the sewing machines that could sew leather put the shoemaker out of business from about 1850 on. The first shoe factory in our country was in Massachusetts. At first the factories cut out the upper leather and soles to make the shoes and sold them to the shoe makers, who finished making the shoes. Later they got machinery in the factory that could do the work of 20 men in just one day. You may remember me from Blue Mt. Fitness. Yes, it’s been years, and I obviously let Fast Food get the best of me. I decided to change. I found a great program where all I had to do was skip 2 bad meals and drink a yummy nutritional shake ($1.60/shake) instead, and then eat whatever I wanted for the 3rd. I didn’t workout, except for some pushups. No Cardio at all! I did this purposefully to prove that no exercise is necessary! However, it would have provided better, faster results. Now I want to help you, if you want it.

that invented that machinery still went to his old shoemaker and let him make his shoes, because they fit better than the factory made ones. In my time I often went to shoe maker, not to let him make shoes but to let him repair them. The name ‘shoemaker’ fits no more today. We should call those people ‘shoe repairers.’ But it appears that the old name ‘shoemaker’ still sticks in our vocabulary. They are very obnoxious on these busses now-a-days. There is a sign in the front of the bus which says “No smoking.” The bus driver saw a guy sitting in the back seat with a pipe in his mouth. The driver said, “Don’t you see that sign?” The guy replied, “I am not smoking.” The driver responded, “You have, however, a pipe in your mouth.” “O yes,” said the guy, “I also have on shoes, but I’m not walking.”

Bach and Handel Chorale Easter Concert

The Bach and Handel Chorale, Festival Orchestra, and guest Soloists bring the music of Bach and Handel to listeners at the Easter Concert April 6 at 3 p.m. in the historic St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 21 Race St., Jim Thorpe. Three of the guest soloists have sung with the Chorale in previous concerts— Heidi Hayes, soprano; Jennifer Brown-Laubach, alto; and Richard Johnson, bass-baritone. Joining the Chorale as tenor is Jeffrey Manns. Johann Sebastian Bach’s “Easter Oratorio” BWV 249, sung in the original German, leads the concert. It is immediately followed by “ Lord in Thee have I Trusted”, a selection from the George Frideric Handel “Dettingen Te Deum.” In the second half of the concert, the premiere performance of “A Song for Laura” in Loving Memory of Laura Sheard composed by Maestro Randall Douglas Perry. Laura, the daughter of Eugene E. and Carol (Eckard) Sheard, grew up in Jim Thorpe and was known for her vibrant personality. In addition, she was a most promising graduate student in pharmacology at the University of Washington. She and her boyfriend lost their lives in a tragic automobile accident. Tickets are available at Dimmick Memorial Library; by mail at the Bach and Handel Office at 810 Carbon Avenue, Jim Thorpe, 18229; or call the office at (570) 325-4794 or order online at http://www.lvartsboxoffice.org.

NL Annual Duck Race

The Northern Lehigh Halloween Parade committee is excited to announce that the 2013 Duck Race will return on June 22nd. Unlike the past few years, the race will be held in June rather than October and will occur on the portion of the creek that runs from the General Morgan Bridge in Slatington to the Slatington Trail Head. The parade committee is excited to once again host the event in the summer and looks forward to a sunny turnout! In addition to the race, there will also be a duck themed festival held at the Slatington Trail Head. The day’s events will

Get Your Tail on the D&L Trail!

Registration is now open for the 2013 Delaware & Lehigh Heritage Marathon and Half-Marathon that will be held on Sunday, November 3, 2013 at 8 a.m. Certified courses follow gravel or macadam trails - the D&L, Nor-Bath, Slate Heritage, and Lehigh-New England - that once carried the Lehigh Valley Railroad and other historic lines through some of eastern Pennsylvania’s most scenic landscapes. Participants follow the Lehigh

River for miles and run through an ancient water gap carved into the mountainous Kittatiny Ridge. There isn’t a more beautiful setting for a longdistance race in the region. Hundreds of runners from eight countries and 24 states ran the races in 2012. We hope you join the 2013 field and crush your personal record on the predominantly flat and fast courses. We’re proud that last year’s Delaware & Lehigh Heritage Marathon was featured in the New York Times as an “Indirect Path to the Finish Line” for a disabled marathoner from Norway who was disheartened with the cancellation of the New York City Marathon. She found us just before our registration closed, along with 200 other disappointed NYC marathon runners.

Angie’s Way to Wellness By Angie Fenstermaker

Are Hundred Calorie Snack Packs Okay?

The 100 calorie snack packs might be low in calories, but it’s not the quantity that changes your health and body….it’s the QUALITY. This snack is a complete indulgence without the added quality of any vitamins, minerals, fiber, proteins or other needed nutritional

50% Off Sunglasses

benefits. A piece of fruit or veggies can have 100 calories or less but will also provide the added benefit of giving you adequate nutrition. These low calorie snack packs might help to learn what a portion is, but are still typically too high in sugar, fat, carbohydrates and/or sodium, even if you're eating only 100 calories. Healthier snacks, such as fruit, vegetables and yogurt, are just as easy and quick to pack and eat on the go!...AND these are quality snacks that will provide your body with quality fuel, for quality physique changes and quality health. Remember…you are what you eat! Eat 100 calories of processed junk and you’ll feel like junk! And, you will continue to feel hungry, and see little progress in your goals. When you eat 100 calories of whole nutrient dense quality foods, you will feel energized, satisfied and see the changes in your pants size!

What Students learned In Math Class

1) I learned that my friends and classmates are always By Daris Howard willing to give me Over the years, we have found that one of the advice whether I want students’ greatest criticisms of any math class it or need it or not. is their claim that they didn’t learn anything. I, And when they need therefore, as part of their final, have the students some advice and I try list ten things that they have learned. These items can be anything at all in relation to the class. They to give them some, they act all are allowed to write their list ahead of time and annoyed. 2) I learned that what TV bring it to the final if they want. Most observations makes us believe about the are quite normal, but some make for interesting fact that we’ll all grow up and reading. Each year I list some of them, and here is be millionaires, and our lives this year’s list. will be extraordinary, is bogus. If we work hard, our lives may be good but still just basically kind of normal, and only as good as the effort we put in. 3) I learned that calculators and their functions really save time. and I should never ask him for help. I’m better off doing it on my own. 7) I learned that with the right teaching techniques, I am actually intelligent in math, and it’s no longer my worst subject. 8) I learned that procrastination is a horrible habit, and a person can get a lot more sleep if they stay ahead in their assignments. 9) I learned how fulfilling and great it feels to get an A on a math test. 10) I learned life without goals is like golf without holes. (I like that quote.) 11) From the section on logic, I learned all the things that were wrong with my arguments with my parents. 12) I learned that it is entirely possible to have a good teacher and enjoy the class and still hate the subject. You are a really good teacher. It’s too bad you have to teach math. 13) I learned that there are at least two girls in our class that are both totally in love with me, and that makes it hard to focus. On math, anyway. 14) I learned that when March Madness is on, my grades go down. 15) When I think I can’t afford a house, I can now do the calculation and then I will know for sure that I can’t. 16) I learned that the girl I would marry sat in the row next to me, but I also learned I should

have paid more attention in class instead of to her. 17) I learned how to survive college without eating Ramen noodles. 18) I learned how to see through trick questions. (Not that you had any, I’m just saying it.) 19) I learned that if the teacher says you can have a note card in the exam, it is probably a good idea to get one ready and take it. 20) I learned that people don’t like it when you are trying to be funny and they are trying to pay attention to the teacher and learn something. They make you feel like you are annoying instead of funny. 21) I learned that I can always tell when Professor Howard’s wife is away because his clothes don’t match very well. 22) I have learned that the more painful something is, the more a person learns from it. I have learned more in this class than anything else I have ever done.

Off The Shelf National Library Month at the Palmerton Area Library

During April the Palmerton Area Library will be celebrating National Library Week all month long. The Library Teen Group will be sponsoring their Food For Fines program again to help build up food supplies at the CACPAC food pantry in Palmerton. During the month of April, library patrons may eliminate $1.00 of late fines for each can or box of nonperishable food donated at the library. There will be a shopping cart located near the front door of the library for your donations. At the end of the month the teens will sort the donated food and deliver it to the food pantry in Palmerton. For the younger library lovers, the library is sponsoring a book mark contest. This contest is open to all children in preschool through grade 6. Contest rules will be delivered to all the Palmerton Area Schools as well as local daycares. Parents may also pick up the forms to enter the contest at the library. Entries are due by Wednesday April 17th and the winners will be announced on Friday April 19th. Winning book mark designs from each of 3 age categories will be made into book marks that will be handed out to the public for the whole year. Winners will also receive prizes of books and gift certificates. On Sunday April 14 the Friends of the Library is sponsoring the Annual Photography Show in the Gallery upstairs at the Palmerton Area Library. The show will feature photographs by local photographers for sale and/or for show only. The show runs from 2:00 until 4:00p.m. Light refreshments will be provided by the Friends of the Library. St. John Neumann School Students Take 1st Place...in Science! The Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science (PJAS) is a statewide organization of Junior and Senior high school students and teachers designed to stimulate and promote interest in science through the development of research investigations. WHEW...that is a mouthful! To sum it up...kids get to do really COOL experiments while learning at the same time! Science and the PJAS is nothing new to the students of St. John Neumann Regional School. It is a big deal around the Palmerton campus and kids really get into it. Recently, at a competition at Easton High School, SJN students got a chance to really show-their-stuff! Students who participated were asked to present projects they wanted to research, and through experiments, find the answers. In addition to choosing a category and designing a project, students also give a timed oral presentation about their projects and then answer questions from the judges. The judges then score each student on their individual performance. Sound stressful? Seven students from St. John Neumann were up to the task and proved successful as they took home first and second place finishes. Below are the SJNRS students that competed in addition to the Catergory they choose and the results;

•Aiden Hinchey, Chemistry - 1st Place •Dennis Lupin, Physics - 1st Place •Michelle McCawley, Physics - 1st Place •Kashia Zukowski, Chemistry - 1st Place •Sarah Kester, Physics - 2nd Place •Camaryn Wheeler, Physics - 2nd Place •Johanna Matsko, Physics - 2nd Place Thier Instructor, Fran Lenahan, a full time teacher at SJNRS, said the students earned the recognition. “They did all the work,” Lenahan said. “It was about scientific method, and they had to put it into practice.” All the students who took 1st Place get to present their projects at the PJAS State competition which is held at Penn State University in State College the weekend of May 12-14. St. John Neumann Regional School has two campuses, Slatington (adjacent to Assumption BVM) which serves K-3rd grades and in Palmerton (adjacent to Sacred Heart Parish) which teaches 4-8 grades. The school is currently accepting enrollments for the 2013-2014 school year. They also offer a $1,000 transfer scholarship opportunity to students entering 1st – 7th grades. Please call the school for more details. You can contact Sister Virginia Stephanie, the schools principal at (610) 767-2935 to set up a personal tour of the school .

Extra Point by Tyler Trumbauer

Spring Sports Preview Baseball

Northern Lehigh: •Coach: Erv Prutzman (7th season, 59-69) •Last year: 6-14 overall, 4-12 in CL •Returnees: IF/P Cody Hallman; OF/P Ryan Martinez; INF Eli Oswald; INF/OF Drake Steele; OF Kris Seiler; IF/OF Dan Gonzalez; •Newcomers: C Austin Landis; OF Tyler Dibilio; 2B Thomas Quigley; OF Jake Marunich; P Nick Hoffer; 1B Alex Sigley •Outlook: The Bulldogs are searching for that postseason success that they have been missing recently. After losing a few key seniors to graduation, head coach Erv Prutzman is looking for a lot of juniors and others with no varsity experience to step up and make a huge impact. “I need our seniors to lead this team.” Pruztman told me last week. The situation doesn’t seem to be conducive to a playoff push, but they will work hard to make it happen. Northampton: •Coach: Mick Sugra (3rd Season, 27-18) •Last year: 12-9 overall, 10-5 in LVC •Postseason: Lost to Pleasant Valley in first round of the District 11 tournament. •Returnees: C Cody Kramer; 1B Mark Szoke; P Garret Kunkel; P Logan Steigerwalt; P Cole Derhammer; P Blake Hein; 3B/DH Eli Shoemaker; SS/P Harley Davidson; OF Brandon Heimbach; OF/3B Dane Hooven; OF Jeff Wesolowski •Newcomers: 2B Evan Grube; P/UTL Joey Wittreich; P Chris Albright; OF Jaden Daubert; 1B/3B Matt Durich; C/3B/1B/OF/P Ian Luberti •Outlook: The K-Kids are constantly in the mix for the league playoffs and usually qualify for some district playoffs as well. This season head coach Mick Sugra would like to make the league tournament as well. He does have a worry about this roster and that lies within the pitching staff. “I’m worried about the lack of experience with the pitching staff. However, our staff has the ability to throw strikes and hit their spots.” Despite all of that, Sugra sees his offense as a weapon that should keep them in games and the postseason hunt. Parkland: •Coach: Tony Galucy (11th season, 173-60) •Last year: 15-7 overall, 11-3 LVC •Postseason: Lost to Nazareth in LVC playoffs. Lost to Pocono MT. East in first round of District 11 playoffs. •Returnees: C Damin Muth; OF/P/1B Tyler Graeff; OF Brandon Evans; OF Jordan Jones; 3B Adam Schneck; 2B Aidan Flynn; P Tyler Duff; C/OF Zach Merkle; SS/P Chris Rabasco •Newcomers: OF Ryan Dumbach; 2B/P Alex Flynn; P/ SS Gabe Mosser; C Hudson Rabenold; OF Brad Vasilik; C Kevin Jones; 3B/P Justin Afflerbach; P/1B Connor Higgins; P/1B Rhett Jacoby •Outlook: With a decent amount of returning upperclassmen, head coach Tony Galucy is looking

Page 33

for offensive production from them. The inexperience lies within his pitching staff. This team failed to make a splash in the postseason last spring and according to Galucy it will come down to the hurlers to decide that this year, “If the pitching staff improves as the season progresses, we could compete in the league and district playoffs.” Lehighton: •Coach: Brian Polaha (4th season, 46-26) •Last year: 16-8 overall, 7-5 MVC •Postseason: Lost in first round of MVC playoffs to E.S. South. Beat Southern Lehigh in first round of District 11 tournament. Beat Pottsville in the semi-finals and lot to Blue Mountain in the championship game. •Returnees: C Jacen Nalesnik; P/INF Josh Kern; SS/P James Franco; OF/P Anthony Rossino •Newcomers: P/UTL Thatcher David; 1B Vince Mele; OF Jordan Knappenberger; OF/P Nick Hill; 3B Brady Niehoff; UTL Tyler Crum; P Zach Rex •Outlook: Head coach Brian Polaha and the Indians are coming of a solid 2012 that included a good posteason run. Unfortunately that will be tough to repeat this spring.“After graduating 10 seniors from last year’s team, we only have three starters returning and two players that return that have more than 10 career varsity at-bats.” Polaha said. “My biggest concern is offense and the overall youth and in-experience of the team.” Palmerton: •Coach: Michael Svetik (First season) •Last year: 5-15 overall, 4-12 in CL •Returnees: P/DH/1B Ryan Saylor; Jr. P/INF CJ Cressman; C/P Lee Kuntz; P/INF Cody Peters •Newcomers: 1B/P Nick Frey; SS/P Ty Achtermann; 2B Garrett Krome; OF Jonathan Swartz; OF/P Eli Borger; IF/OF Austin Cook. Outlook: With first year head coach Michael Svetik, the Blue Bombers are trying to start anew in 2013. Palmerton has seen a lot of weak teams this past few years and they hope this change at the top will radically change everything and do it right now. Svetik has playoff goals for this spring, but is worried about his players hanging their heads. “I am still concerned that if we don’t get off to a good start, they will fall into that ‘here we go again feeling’ like so many other teams had in the past.” Northwestern: •Coach: Len Smith (31st season, 346-287) •Last year: 13-8 overall, 9-7 in CL •Postseason: Lost to North Schuylkill in first round of District 11 tournament. •Returnees: P/OF/1B Richard Perry; P/OF Alex Smith; C Collin Breidinger; OF/P Nick Rodriquez •Newcomers: SS Boston Furjanic; OF Austin Yanek; OF/P Jake Najarian; P/1B Brandon Eden; INF/P Josh Williamson; 3B/OF Taylor Breininger; 2B Brady Mengel; INF Jake Augustus •Outlook: “Can we put runs on the board?” That is the question that head coach Len Smith has heading in to his 31st season as the Tigers head baseball coach. Northwestern lost 10 seniors to graduation which brings in a lot of young and inexperienced players on the varsity roster. Smith is looking for one thing this season, “Our main goal is to improve as the season progresses.” This squad qualified for districts last spring; however it will take some excellent play from underclassmen to repeat that.

Extra Point Continued from Page 33 Softball Northern Lehigh: •Coach: Jon DeFrain (2nd season, 7-13 ) •Last year: 7-13 overall, 4-12 in CL •Returnees: 2B Kianna Marlatt; P Amber Thomas; C Shannon Weil; SS/P Amber Kibler; SS/OF Cassie Toth; 1B Sarah Frantz •Newcomers: P Jenelle Kern; 3B Sophie Hankee; INF Madison Bellesfield; 2B/C Lexy Barrett; OF Meghan Weil; OF Taylor Herman •Outlook: Head coach of Jon DeFrain is entering his second season at the varsity level. He and his coaching staff will be relying on a lot of young players with only three seniors on the team. Despite that he is staying positive, “While we are young at some positions, the girls who will be contributing do have considerable softball experience. One of our biggest assets this year appears to be hustle both in terms of offense and defense.” It’ll be a tough road for these young players to return the lady dogs to the postseason. Northampton: •Coach: Sally Whittaker-Kahan (5th season, 58-35) •Last year: 14-9 overall, 7-7 in LVC •Postseason: Beat Easton in the AAAA District 11 opener. Beat Pleasant Valley in the quarterfinals. Lost to Emmaus in the semi-finals. •Returnees: P Marly Laubach; 3B Tori Gollie; SS Brianna Dalton; 2B Megan Tiwold; 1B Kendra Makovsky; CF Taylor Kerbacher; OF Erin Tiwold; UTIL Lauren Brosky •Newcomers: C Hannah Peters; UTIL Leandra

JONES INDOOR MAINTENANCE, LLC (610) 248-0482

Stener; OF Amber Saylor; UTIL Kendel Reed •Outlook: Unlike most baseball and softball teams in the area, this squad has a good amount of seniors. Head coach Sally Whittaker-Kahan expressed the team’s motto to me, “We believe that words mean nothing, action is what is matters!”The K-Kids are hoping to ride that right into the league and district playoffs. Parkland: •Coach: Barry Search (4th season, 35-19) •Last year: 18-5 overall, 12-2 in LVC •Postseason: Lost to Bethlehem Catholic in LVC playoffs. Beat Nazareth in first round of the AAAA District 11 tournament. Lost to Liberty in the second round. •Returnees: C Jordy Augustus; CF Courty Miller; P/1B Morgan Rentzheimer; P/1B Rachel Smerdon; SS Emma Varrato •Newcomers: RF Megan Muthard; 3B Lexi Oakley; 2B Kelly Gruber; OF/IF Abby Frtizinger; 2B Sam Pickar; C Sydney Stibitz; LF Madison Marshall; OF Taylor Knappenberger •Outlook: This squad is laden with underclassmen. That inexperience could cost the Trojans some victories this season. Head coach Barry Search frankly put it,“We have some very good young talent. It will be a season of growing and maturing.” It will be a rough season if those young talents don’t earn victories. Lehighton: •Coach: Greg Poremba (1st season) •Last year: 13-7 overall, 6-6 in MVC •Postseason: Lost to Northwestern in first round of AAA District 11 tournament. •Returnees: OF Samantha Snyder; 2B Brooke Lucykanish

•Newcomers: P Autumn Bickert; P Hannah Binyon; C Kelsey Andrews; OF Brooke Scott; SS Sophie Everett; C/3B Jocelyn Hunsicker; 3B/OF Amanda Loudon; 1B Cami Nalesnik •Outlook: A lot happened in the offseason for this Indians squad that made a District 11 playoff appearance last spring. There is a new coach and this roster lost nine seniors to graduation. There is youth and inexperience dripping through this lineup and head coach, Greg Poremba, realizes that. “Our focus this year is clearly on fundamentals. We need to build from the ground up.” Lehighton will be working hard this spring to find consistency at the varsity level. Palmerton: •Coach: Glenn Reimer (5th season, 36-47) •Last year: 17-6 overall, 12-4 in CL •Postseason: Lost to Saucon Valley in Colonial League playoffs. Beat Catty in AA District 11 first round. Lost to Pine Grove in district semi-finals. •Returnees: C Lauren Campbell; 1B Abby Reimer; SS Janel Tracy; 3B Ashley Lalik; LF Stephanie Brinker; CF Megan Peck; RF Steph Buck; P Tricia Connolly; UTIL Cassie Keiser; UTIL Lindsay Stasko •Newcomers: P Kendra Pekurny; 2B Sammie Doherty; INF Tricia Sterling; C Alyssa Acker; OF Jordan Boyer •Outlook: Palmerton is coming off a 2012 where they posted a school record for wins. Head coach Glenn Reimer acknowledges that they lost five seniors, but are looking to stay on top. “We believe that districts and the Colonial League playoffs are not only attainable, but winnable.” Reimer said. For that statement to hold true, the Blue Bombers will need outstanding performances from underclassmen all season long. Northwestern: •Coach: Carey Troxell (1st season)

Lost to Bethlehem Catholic in District 11 semi-finals. •Returnees: 3B Nicole Metzger; 2B Blaise Barron; 1B Steph Papp; DH Lyndsey Papp; OF Morgan Cleary; OF Felicia Heckman; P Ashley Eden; C/OF Cailie Rehrig; •Newcomers: P Emily Bennett; OF Kylee Bennett; OF Erynn Day •Outlook: Carey Troxell is taking over for Jen Horner who resigned after spending many seasons as the head softball coach. Although there is a changing of the guards, there is still a great group of returning players on this squad. Troxell realizes the talent she is inheriting and is shooting for the stars, “Our goals for this season are to avoid injury, stay healthy, contend for the Colonial League championship and get deeper into the district tournament.”
