elcome to the 48th number of Another Magazine, a high fashion and world-class magazine that features art, politics, literature and fashion. Putting together creativity, authenticity and staring Rihanna, Nicole Kidman, Jodie Foster, Natalie Portman amongst its impressive run of leading Hollywood cover stars. This issue is shaped around the present and the future perspective on gender transparency. The world has been built up on structures by dominating men and shaped around the male perspective. For generations women have been fighting for social, political and human rights to be equal and men who has not been fitting in to the “perfect gender stereotype” has been banned. The time for change is now and we are tired of the old society rules!
Thank you, Editor

FIGURE: “What Is The Nickname Of Your Soul?” Created by Kosheez
CONCEPT
T
he creation of The Rocky Horror Picture Show in the 70´s was a bold move. At a time where sodomy was illegal in lots of states and even frowned upon in the more progressive ones the movie sure was a statement. Due to the sexual oppression and the strictness rocky horror became more than just a film. It became part of a movement that changed people’s lives which still lives on to this day. What made the film so famous was the liberation of sexuality and the way the director played with gender roles in a fun and privilege way. This was something people was starting to respond to. The boldness and sexuality of the actors inspired people and as a tribute to its greatness they gathered courage and arrived at the cinema dressed up as the movie characters in all high glam makeup, stockings and heels. This was certainly a big deal during a time like this, how people dared to play with gender roles and sexuality at a time when it was considered taboo at the best. This editorial celebrates the freedom of sexual liberation nowadays with then and experiments with the contrasts of transparency. Showcasing one in the audience courage to dress freely without feeling the vulnerability of being judged by anyone outside the high walls of the cinema. A high expectation is placed on men being in the frames of the masculine stereotype, with a set of attributes, behaviors and roles associated with social standards of boys are not supposed to show feelings or vulnerability. The “perfection” of a masculine man is to be strong, protective and violent. Although this image has slowly changed over the years and the society has opened its gates towards a freer civilization without judging its many faces. The idea of this editorial is to “make perfection into a reality instead of an expectation” displaying the many sides of a perfect man that are not being within the frames of the stereotype. This is a story of a man transforming out of his body’s captivity and breaking free from the old chains of our society. Showcasing the importance of the movies liberation and fearlessness it contributed to its amazed audience.

he styling of the editorial will be divided into two parts the “adapted” and “free”. The model will be directed to place a lot of focus on the eyes, they are after all the window to the soul. Although the makeup, outfits and props help, they mean nothing if the photographer is not able to capture when the model invite you with the look in his eyes. After all this is what sells and creates an emotional relationship between the clients and the products. To create a dark and mysterious feeling of the picture a lot of experimenting with lighting, retouching makeup and angles throughout the creative prosses in order to get the perfect shot. LOOK “ADAPTED” Simple, natural and sophisticated, makeup will have the “no makeup” look. LOOK “FREE” Edgy, aggressive and sensual
