Let’s start!
Professor: Nicola Auciello. Student: Annalisa Radicchi, Noemi Russo, Claudia Zaami. This project tells the story about how we conceived our Campus idea dedicated to IED students. We are in Via Casilina 51, from the street we glimpse an industrial building, which is hidden and dominated from other block of flats. Through the survey what struck us was the absolute lack of light. At this point we planned our research following the motion of the sun. The birth of our project derives from the necessity to light every details of our architecture.

Le Corbusier pseudonym of Charles-Edouard Jeanneret-Gris, was a Swiss architect, city planner, painter and designer. The strenght points of his new architecture are five, two of them in favour of the transit of the light through closed places. One of these innovations is the free “façade” that allows the transit of the sunlight. To offer a greater illumination and reduce the detachment from outside, the architect planned the ribbon windows, which is a kind of window that cuts horizontally the entire facade.

Professor: Tommaso Arcangioli. Student: Annalisa Radicchi, Noemi Russo, Claudia Zaami. This is an exhibit design exam. Our purpose is to show the MACRO permanent exhibition. In the area, the Ex Sala Enel inside the museum, we decided to include various types of small structures that can contain (as a storehouse) or show the art works. We did it for giving to the curator the possibility to internalized the exhibit.

Art works scheme: Opere
Our concept starts from the studying of a chocolate box. What we have deduced is: the box contains sweets of different shape and content, like our area which can house small structures of different shape and content. So the outfitting has 3 kinds of configuration with 3 options for each one. These are: Bookshop, Conference and Makerspace. We chose these possibilities to create a place where people are happy to go and willing to learn.

Professors: Eliana Saracino, Orizzonatle. Student: Annalisa Radicchi. In this lab I developed a commercial project, in particular a shoe shop, in depth. As everybody had the possibility to chose a brand, at the biginning the purpose was to find an innovative one and studying it to highlight its strenght points. Then I convert them into the shop concept to give a new experience to consumers.

Brand: What are your name?
Project idea:
OSBORN HANDCRAFTED
Him: Aaron Ousborn
Her: Carla Venticinque - Osborn Him: Our Business name is Osborn Design Studios Her: We are married.
When and how did you start working? Him: The brand was founded in 2008 as a humanitarian
fashion project. We worked in an orphanage, with kids, in Guatemala and then we started working in markets around
New York and the shoes were getting more and more attention. Her: So Osborn became a Brooklyn-based boutique footwear brand making craft footwear. We design shoes
in the studio and then we create them in Guatemala. www.shoposborn.com
Interaction:
The shop will allow the consumer to play an active part in the creative process of his shoe. He can bring to the lab an old item of clothing to give it a new life. Otherwise he can work together with a staff member to realize a personal fabric from an idea or a sketch. So, in this way, different limited editions will born.
App: For a new and exciting shopping experience, a new App that follows you throughout the brand knowledge, the selling of products and much more. Is not the usual fashion app because it gives you many opportunities to discover. Subscribe, log in with your account and be ready to be astonished!
Concept Store:
The life of the shop won’t be due only from the selling but it would be an interactive place, a kind of artist and art addicted hangout. From Design to fashion, from music to letterature. An event space that promotes new initiatives and incentivizes the work of young maker.

Professor: Cristiano Toraldo di Francia Student: Annalisa Radicchi. The thesis Lab, entitled “Architettura al limite 2, required the requalification of the building Ex Lyceum Bramante, located in Pesaro (IT). The Ex Lyceum houses some Council and Provincial offices with a public swimming-pool, as it is. Our project goal was to turn it into a residential building and maintain a space for the pre-existing Offices.

Professor: Anna Rita Emili. Student: Annalisa Radicchi, Claudia Petrocelli. The lab was about the planning of 3 carsharing stations located in 3 strategical areas in Rome. The principal topic is the Eco sustainability, in fact the car has to be electric. So the project of the stations had to reproduce the car features and also the Brand policy. Lastly the design has to integrate itself in the area. The project is published int the book “Mobilità elettrica”di Anna Rita Emili. See it below: http://www.plugin-lab.it/?p=1226

Curve structures: Carbon fiber, CRE.VE.R. Used like rebar or support structers, it has a low weight and minimum thickness. Covering layer: Recycled rubber, Re-Tread products. It is deformable tollerant and can be recycled again.
Pedestrian track: Pavegen, Pavegen System. This rubber material converts the kynetic energy produced by people walking into electricity. Curtain wall:Etfe, Pati. It’s a structural light material, fireresistant, self-cleaning and durable.
Cantileverd roof: Transparent concrete, Italcementi. It filters both the daylight and the electric light.
Author: Annalisa Radicchi. This section of the portfolio aims to show my 3Ds Max skills. I started studing it in 2014 at IED, and it was a revelation to me. I think it is an amazing software where I can see my project comes true. I love the unlimited possibilities to make a place each time different it offers. In this way I can be sure of my choises. In fact I can spend hours looking for the wright detail, furniture, colour or finishing.
The end.
