Title: The Strange Case of Doctor Jekyll and Mr Hyde Author: Robert Louis Stevenson Publisher: Helbing Languages • Describe the book in one or two sentences. What type of story is it? Where / When does it take place? Who are the main characters? The story is very interesting, with a lot of misterious and a very adictive content.
The story occurs in London, in 19th century. The main characters are Mr.Utterson, Mr. Richard Enfield, Doctor Henry Jekyll, Mr. Hyde and Dr. Lanyon. • Write a few sentences saying why you liked (or didn’t like) the book . E .g . What were the best things about the book? What other books did it remind you of? What kind of reader do you think would enjoy this book? I like the original story, because it is very pleasant. But the book can't shows the story very well, because there are parts that the story advances very quickly and direct and others that goes slowly and in a methaforic way. This book reminds me to the others books that I read in bilingual section, with misterious and action topics. Well, this book is going to like that people that like intrigue and a deep story. • Would you recommend this book to other readers? (Choose one and explain why) Not recommended, because this book can't reflect the good story at all; so I recommend if you like the story to see the film or another adaptation of the story.

• Which is your favourite incident in the story? What does it show about your favourite character? Well, my favourite incident in the story is when this become more interesting; when Mr.Utterson receives Dr. Jekyll's will and try to solve the mystery. In this part show the courage of Mr. Utterson and his stress.
Plot Development • INTRODUCTION. The book begins with a typhical sunday's walk of Mr. Utterson and Mr. Enfield. When they were walking and talking, Enfield remember a success of a man that attack a girl in the same street that they were walking. Afther that, Mr. Utterson begins to stay nervous, and more when Utterson receives an envelope... • DEVELOPMENT. The envelope was Dr. Jekyll's will and says that all posesions of Jekyll are going to be for, a man called Hyde. This success worried to Utterson, because Enfield told him that the man that attacked the girl named Edward Hyde. A time later, occurs a murder of Member of the Parliament, that was killed by a man who was small and ugly. When Utterson discover this, he decided to found the key of the mistery. Utterson goes to talk to Jekyll to find an answer of why he donates his posessions to the evil of Mr. Hyde, and he doesn't give reasons. The time passed and the life of the three friends (Jekyll, Lanyon and Utterson), come back to the old times. They were talking and drinking in a happy way. But, next week Lanyon dies and says, before he dies, that he don't want to know anything of Jekyll. While, Jekyll don't want to know nothing of his friends. He was ill and he wants to isolate of the world. Utterson decided to write to him, and find answers of his state. Utterson becames more nervous and, with the help of Poole, fell down the door of the laboratory where situates Jekyll or Hyde. When they enters they look a murderer on the floor, it was the body of Hyde that wears the clothes of Jekyll. Utterson and Poole thinked that posibly Hyde was killed by Jekyll or was killed by himself.
• CLIMAX One part that I liked a lot, when Utterson receives Poole and talks to him that the things with Jekyll aren't going very well. I like this part because, from here, the book begins to put more interesting. • CONCLUSION The book ends with the suicide of Jekyll and Hyde, because Jekyll convert into Hyde with a poison and then he had to find a drug for attack the poison. In a letter, Jekyll explain the reason for the conversion into Hyde. He explains that he wanted to know the good part of each person and the bad part of each person using the poison that finally killed him.
