There are many characters but in my opinion these are the most important:
-Dr. Jekyll: he’s a very powerful person in London, he’s very interested in science and he like helping poor people and having dinner with his friends but he’s also very unhappy. He’s a tall man who also has blond hair. He’s elegant and likes wearing nice suits. -Mr. Hyde: he’s wild, very evil and has got an evil look. He’s a murderer too. He is really short and a bit fat. He has black hair and a big moth with enormous teeth. -Mr. Utterson: he’s a quiet, serious lawyer, he is very loyal with his friends and he likes helping them if they’re in trouble. He’s a thin and tall man. He has a funny moustache and he’s brown-haired. -Dr. Lanyon: he’s a smart doctor who dies at the end of the story. He’s a bit short and he’s old. His hair is white and its big moustache is white too. -Mr. Enfield: he’s a good man but I think he’s not very valiant. He’s normal height and he has brown hair. -Poole: he’s an old man who works for Dr. Jekyll. He’s very valiant and loyal. He is a very nice man and he always says the truth. He has white hair, little eyes with glasses and a serious face. There are more characters, but they are secondary characters such as the police, the girl, the maid…

Plot.
This book starts when Mr. Enfield tells a story to Mr. Utterson about something horrible that a man called Mr. Hyde did to a girl. Then Mr. Utterson starts to be worried because Dr. Jekyll knows that man. Mr. Hyde murders some people and at the same time a lot of strange things occur to Dr. Jekyll. At the end Dr. Lyon dies but before it, he gave a letter to Mr. Utterson explaining what was happening between Mr. Hyde (the murderer) and Dr. Jekyll, ¡they are the same person! And finally, Dr. Jekyll disappears and only lives Mr. Hyde.

Personal opinion.
At the end of the book there’s a really nice text explaining the two sides of every person. It says “Every person has got good and bad in him and must choose between them”. I think it’s a really interesting way to see the inside of the people. It’s true that nor the good is so good, nor the bad is so bad. I also think that you are who you are, but you can decide being a better or a worse person. Dr. Jekyll decided to be a worse person because in that way he was happier. 3
