INFORMATION ABOUT THE BOOK TITLE: Much ado about nothing AUTHOR: William Shakespeare PUBLISHING HOUSE: Macmillan MAIN CHARACTERS: Don Pedro is the Prince of Aragon, a kingdom in Northern Spain. Don John is the brother of Don Pedro and he´s evil. Leonato is the governor of Messina, in the north –east of Sicily. Hero is the Leonato´s daugther and she´s very nice. Beatrice is the Leonato´s niece. Clauddio is a count from Florence and he is very young. Benedick is a lord from Padua and Borachio is the Don John´s friend. SUMMARY: ACT 1: Don Pedro had won the war and said in a letter that will soon be in Messina long. Benedick and Beatrice always argued when they met and Benedick didn´t want to get married because he thought that no woman was good enough for him. The love of Claudio is Hero. The brother of Leonato tells him that a servant has heard that Pedro wants to get married with his daugther. John is a bastard and he wants to revenge of his brother. Borachio heard the plan of Don Pedro. Claudio would get to married with Hero and he tells this to John. But Don John want to stop Claudio marrying Hero, because he had turned Don Pedro.
ACT 2 Beatrice didn´t want a husband .She´s happy tos tay unmarried. Beatrice told Benedick that everyone thought we was a fool. Don John told Claudio that Don Pedro loved Hero and wanted to marry her. Claduio expresses their feelings and Claudio and Hero are going to get married. Claudio would thing that Hero is unfaithful.
