PLACES TO EAT LILLE*

> The IÉSEG cafeteria is located in the D building and offers a wide range of fresh and affordable products: breakfasts, salads, sandwiches and pasta including vegetarian, gluten-free and/ or vegan options. The catering offer is provided by Toc’Toque company, which welcomes you from 10am to 2pm during the School year. Snack machines and microwaves are also available in the student lounge areas (building D and building E).

> Le Green is the university restaurant of the Université Catholique de Lille. It offers a breakfast formula, snacks as well as a classic restaurant offer. This space also gives students the opportunity to come and work in a pleasant environment.

I joined IÉSEG as part of a double degree: the Master cycle of the Grande École program and the Master in Finance. I chose to get into Finance because it is a field I am passionate about. I chose IÉSEG for several reasons, including the quality of the training, the international dimension and also the importance given to innovation and research.

The program is busy but very instructive. I particularly appreciated the group projects that were assigned to us and that allowed us to put all the theoretical knowledge into practice. I also really liked the “Financial statement analysis” course which allowed me to understand in depth the financial statements and the main financial ratios, and to work on the financial analysis of a real company case.

Currently I am an internal controller at Veolia, following my end-of- studies internship in the same company. In the years to come, I still see myself in an audit/finance position within a multinational company.
