In this age of fake news and Wikipedia, the press, or any organization committed to excellence in reporting, needs access to reliable experts who are capable of communicating with their audiences. IÉSEG School of Management has worked hard to become an international knowledge hub. We host faculty from 47 countries, with doctoral degrees from the world’s most prestigious research institutions. As this guide shows, our faculty have expertise on a wide range of domains, from issues concerning gender equality to the impact of big data for companies. Many of the professors at IÉSEG have spent more than a decade developing and publishing high-quality research in some of the leading academic journals. However, IÉSEG is no ivory tower. Many of our faculty collect data and conduct experiments in companies, small and large. Their scientific research looks at problems that managers and governments deal with every day. Their papers provide compelling, evidencebased solutions to those problems. Several of our faculty consult with governments and corporations. IÉSEG professors sit on advisory boards for some of the toughest challenges that European governments are facing. Some of our faculty are consulted in major legal cases. Others run multi-year consulting projects with companies. A few have even started their own initiatives to improve conditions for people and organizations. All of this makes IÉSEG an exceptional partner for when you need deep and measured insight, communicated in a clear and compelling way. Whether you are a journalist looking for someone to interview, or a company looking for a keynote speaker, you can use this guide to find an IÉSEG expert that you can reach for help and collaboration. As Director of Research at IÉSEG, I am delighted to have the opportunity to work together with the press and with companies to bring the knowledge of our faculty to a broader audience. Please contact our communication department to see how you can benefit from IÉSEG’s expertise.
