“
Choosing to pursue the IÉSEG IMBA is one of the best and smartest decisions I have ever made. As an American, I decided to further my education in Europe in order to gain a holistic perspective on business, as I would like to work in a global company after finishing my studies. I chose IÉSEG in particular for its prominent location, the positive reputation of its programs and its international focus. This program has given me the invaluable opportunity not only to work with, but learn from peers and professors from all over the world. IÉSEG also has a strong career support program; part of which enables us to meet with top business executives. Thanks to that program, I was able to secure a post-coursework internship here in Paris at a global, billion-dollar French company early on in the year. My experience here so far has been everything I imagined and more. Not only have I learned more than I thought possible in one year, but I have also been exposed to a new culture, a new language, and have met the most wonderful people.

There is a moment in life when you know you have to get out of your comfort zone and make a big change. That moment for me came a year ago; I was longing for that big change and therefore I decided to study abroad and my chosen destination was Europe. It was hard at first to decide on the country and the school. I spent a long time searching for the perfect school until I came across IÉSEG. I chose IÉSEG because I like the balance it has between theory and practice. The IMBA program allows me not only to have a broader view of a business, but also to specialize in a certain field. You can enhance your knowledge in your current field or decide to make a change, like me, and discover new opportunities. What’s great about this, is that no matter which direction you choose to take, the expertise you will gain is invaluable because it will come from all over the world. The international dimension of the alumni and the experienced faculty members, is something you will notice at IÉSEG from day 1. Studying in Paris, one of the most important financial and cultural centres of the world, certainly makes your decision even easier. I believe this IMBA will give me the set of tools I need to become an outstanding manager. With the help of the IÉSEG Career Support services I will be able to get a marketing position in a European Corporation to gain knowledge, more experience and a wider perspective to finally start my own consulting business.
