乍闻「客家本色」的餐厅名,脑海马上浮现对客家特色的既定印象,然而整体建筑颠覆我的想象,以十足 摩登的东方风格映入眼帘。设计师发挥所长并跳脱传统元素,以多元的东方调性来呈现,建筑造型简单俐落, 外墙以黑色花窗包覆,带着若隐若现的神秘感,搭配前庭水池所营造的气氛,成为往来频繁的十字路口处 焦点所在。 At first glance at "Natural Hakka" of the restaurant name, my mind conjures the impression of an established Hakka characteristics, but the overall construction subvert my imagination to the full modern Oriental style appeared. Designers develop their potential and escape the traditional elements of the diverse oriental to render, architectural style is simple and tidy, exterior windows covered with black flowers, with a looming sense of mystery, with the atmosphere created by the vestibular pool, a crossing between the frequent focus of attention.

当中加入中国风的鸟笼做为空间布置的主角,里面的白鸟会随着 LED 颜色灯光变化,在挑高处的鸟笼图样输出,从侧面打光增加空间高度的气势。 叁字经文灯墙及书法文字皆完整的处理东方语汇,尤其是请当地书法名家李峰先生现场挥毫的部分,巧思的将艺术性带入商业空间之中。餐厅内 备有讨喜的客家陶艺品,陈列於大门玄关处供客人选购,设计师也在此摆放许多象征着「大吉大利」的橘子,因此对这家餐厅的祝福和情感也就 不言而喻了。

位于靠近日本北海道岛二世谷的山顶处的 Look Out 餐厅是为滑雪的人提供午餐和短暂休息之地。餐厅由 一家酒店和铁路管理公司所有,只在 12 月到 4 月的季节里营业。28 年前餐厅最开始是用木头建造的, 现在这是第一次翻新。2010 年 10 月 4 号,我被叫到 YTL 集团吉隆坡总部,被突然通知去对这个二世谷 餐厅进行翻新设计。 最开始,餐厅所有者希望能赶到十二月上旬翻修完毕开业,由于那段时间开始出现雪崩等情况,后来经 过会议商讨我请求将完成时间改为 12 月中旬,算算从开会决定到 12 月中旬,一共用了 45 天左右。 Somewhere near to top of the mountain in Niseko on the island of Hokkaido in Japan, there is this Look out Cafe for skiers to have a short break and lunch. The restaurant opens only during the snow season, December through April daily. This restaurant is owned by a hotel management & railway company. It was originally built of wood since 28 years ago, and now this is the first time of renovation. On 04 October 2010, I was called to YTL Group headquarters in Kuala Lumpur, out of a sudden, I was informed about the restaurant renovation in Niseko. Initially, the restaurant owner hopes the restaurant opening in early December. After a few meeting going on and also conference call to the project manager in Hokkaido, I was requested to complete the project before mid-November due to snowfall begins during that period. Counting from the day of the meeting to mid-November, it was approximately 45 days left.

Sea sushi ,this restaurant, the main bit of spending power is the middle class, defined as an advanced form of rotary sushi shop, in the analysis layer of the Neihu where the customer orientation and the restaurant itself, we try to show three faces design to: gorgeous sense of fashion, visual young, and modern Japanese style. And extends the concept of a major - rhythm. Interior design combined with many different elements, many revolutionary ideas and design are reflected in the small details, we hope to break the general impression of the store for sushi, sushi for customers to sit in the Neihu sea sushi store, you can not panic busy savoring the taste of sushi, has become a guest of honor. In order to take care of the guests do not want to sit at the bar, we arranged a number of independent seats with "box area", "box area", although not a real box, but separated by curtains, so that every table has a private room, table top each one like a large bulb chandelier, each pendant varies, far seems to be quite irregular. 如果绚丽的空间里,抽掉实体的材料,你所熟悉的木、铁、石材、玻璃时,剩下的是什么?是的!只剩下使用者。也就是说,空间 的存在是空间的实体与用户两者所构成,而使用者在空间的游移、运动与行为构成了空间的有机要素,如果说空间中的所有内容是 为了使用者而存在,那么,使用者的行为就是一个空间中最重要的成份,满足使用者在空间中的需求,能够成为在空间建构中的重 要策略要素,因此,在此ㄧ独特的餐厅规划案中,该案客户与设计者尝试建构一个新的餐厅中的使用者行为。 If a beautiful space is deprived of solid materials of which you are familiar such as wood, iron, stone and glass, then what is left? 1.User expression In the construction of a space, the people using the space are the most important part. The expressions from the users also provide most attraction of one space. To design a restaurant which determined to make people happy, the happiness expressions from the customers becomes the most important value in our design process. Therefore, we convinced the client to minimize the other spatial elements and focusing on the behavior of customers. 2. Touch MoJo iCuisine is the first realized, fully interactive restaurant in Taiwan. The moJo iCuisine interactive dining table is a modular table being able to seat two diners. It is equipped with touch sensors and an attractive visual interface. The interface is projected by way of an overhead installation; specifically designed to be viewed from two opposite orientations. The touch sensors allow diners to interact in several different and interesting ways. For example diners can touch and toss the circular menu, directly order dishes from the kitchen, change the digital table cloth, view advertisements, play games, fill out opinion forms and check or pay bills. When a user orders a dish the kitchen will receive it in real time, allowing the chef to make it immediately while concomitantly being charged on the bill. The interactive tables are overlaid with vivid and colorful changing graphics providing for delightful and impressive moments. The interface itself also creates a flourishing and colorful landscape that ensures a memorable dining experience. 3.Integration of visual components For the implementation of the moJo iCuisine project we designed not only the overall visual appearance which included the entry images, business cards and interactive table but also the establishment of a database system according to the “service design” concept. The information system linked with the interactive table can be used to record and track consumer preferences, compiling statistics on the operation of the restaurant. The integration of visual elements resulted in the dynamic qualities of space, from static images to an interactive video interface. Biological organisms were also highlighted such as the projection lamps being arranged in the air like a group of organized life. 4.Hyper Surface The Hyper surface use electronic data flow rather than paper, saving both space and resources; in addition to enhancing relationship development between users. The communications and interactions between people create infinite possibilities for space. Through the hyper surface designed in this project, the restaurant becomes a space that people can communicate with each other. Also, the communication between the user and the restaurant is also a interactive relationship.

空间概念 1 人跟人之间的互动表情 长期在空间设计的工作中,最难也最少捕捉的就是使用者的表情。从空间的完成 后,使用者的使用行为就是空间完成后最大的依凭,其中使用者的表情,也可以是空间中除了材料外,最大的张力,而一个以打造幸福的互动感为目的的餐厅,如 果失去的这个价值,其他的要素都将不具意义,因此,设计者与客户合力挑战,取空间要素的极简化,将空间中的主要要素,都还原在关注使用者在空间中的互动 行为,期使餐厅所衍生的互动氛围,弥漫在空间中。 2 接触(Touch) 使用者的互动行为,是藉由接触开始,我们关注了使用者在空间的各种接触行为,并且投射在餐厅的各种接口中,从餐厅的主要使用者到服务人员,其中桌面包含 餐桌与吧台的触控装置成为主要的聚焦点,moJo iCuisine 互动餐桌是以触控感应装置的模块化餐桌组。其视觉接口由装置上方投射影像成像,并特别设计成可由两 个对向观看的接口及互动模式。使用者可触控、抛动环状菜单选择餐点,阅读餐点说明。 除了浏览菜单之外,消费者亦可透过交互式餐桌直接点餐/饮料、等餐时玩小游戏、变更「数字桌巾」、观看广告、填写意见表、核对/付账单,且所有动作都在 简单的手指点、触间即可完成。餐桌接口本身则充满着色彩丰富的画面,提供消费者一个愉悦的用餐经验。搭配着可口美食和色彩丰富、有变化的互动画面投影, 让用餐场景充满了愉悦而惊喜的体验。 3 视觉要素统一化 在本项目执行中,我们不仅仅为 moJo iCuisine 设计了整体视觉外观,包含入口影像、名片、互动餐桌的有趣画面,同时也依照「服务设计」的概念,为其建立一套 数据库系统。与该数据系统链接的互动餐桌可记录、追踪消费者的喜好,并汇整出餐厅营运的统计数字。统整后的视觉要素,使得空间的动感特质,由形象识别一 直到空间,由平面到空间,由静态影像到互动界面影像,也凸显在像是某种生物有机体的投影吊灯,他们一串串的排列在空气中,像是一套有组织的生命。 4 超表面 透过信息流的传输背后代表的效率提升与实体印单的减量,超表面的隐藏信息以及无所不在的运算(降低信息实体在空间实体空间的低度呈现),让我们看到生活 的简约的可能,也许从另一个角度而言,我们愈来愈无法逃离信息,但是我们也看到,人跟人之间的交流与互动,呈现更多样的无限可能。 空间是因人的使用而存在,抽换掉所有的表皮及装饰,空间只是一层与使用者的对话关系,除此之外,则是人与人在空间的对话,而这也是一种互动关系。 科比意曾经以机器来比喻未来的房子,而我们则在此一案子中,看到一个空间中的信息的无所不在,像是空间中的灵魂,却开启了在空间中的使用者 ---- 人,更 人性化的无限可能。

Refreshing, sophisticated yet easy-going, caffé HABITU is a far cry from other chain coffee shops with their all too often bland identities and identical interiors. Here, the repeated use of a single design concept has been banished in favour of interiors that respond directly to their location and target clientele. If there is a common thread linking the various outlets, it lies in the use of abandoned materials left by previous occupants of the spaces. These might include wooden shelves reused as ceiling panels, or existing metal fittings and raw brick walls, while elsewhere PVC pipes might be transformed into ceiling lights or walls adorned with wooden shoe horns, creating sculptural features that imbue each space with a sense of its own history. Both the Henessy Road and Hutchison House outlets cater to office executives, but their different floor plans have dictated quite different seating layouts. In the former, the numerous twists and turns of the boundary walls have been employed to create secret corners, perfect for a private coffee break away from the office. In the latter, on the other hand, armchairs and sofas have been arranged around a central bar, in cosy clusters suitable for informal business meetings. Clad in copper mosaic tiles and highlighted by a rectangular black ceiling rimmed with spotlights, the bar was designed to encourage mingling and interaction, with sufficient visual impact to draw in passers-by even from a distance.

Such is the authenticity of this Japanese restaurant located in Clarke Quay. From the charismatic ceiling lamps to the intimate, low-lying cushions and tatami in the private dining room, every turn is a visual pleasure for the eye. The riveting factor lies with the feature wall, which doubles as magazine rack, and the dining tables that light up with brilliant effervescence from within. Whether for a quick slap-lunch or an evening of fine Turkish cuisine. Karakoy Lokantasi is a great spot for seriously good food. Aotoban rose to the challenge of giving the restaurant a strong new identity, cladding the interior walls with traditional bright turquoise tiles as the backdrop for angular mirrors and custom-made stylish lighting. A steel spiral staircase joins the two floors and acts as a centre piece to the space, while marble surfaces and treditionally tilled floors provide a more traditional Turkish fish restaurant feel.

This Mexican restaurant located in La Condesa, Mexico, allowed us to make an intervention in an existing place, taking care of the functional requirements while satisfying and expressing the client´s character and personality. This project was done in collaboration with a Mexican artist called Jeronimo Hagerman who designed the ceiling and called it: “Ando volando bajo” (“I am flying low”). The ceiling is covered by a black perforated shield. Purple and pink dissected flowers are hung in the ceiling creating different forms, which evoke Mexican landscapes of clouds and flowers. The moment you go inside the restaurant the smell of wood and flowers fill your lungs. The floor is made of dark stone and carries a wood platform that takes you into the restaurant. The columns are in the middle covered by wood panels and are lighten stylishly by indirect light. The tables and chairs were designed especially for this project, emphasizing our concern to use furnishing as an element that defines space and not as a mere decorative object. The goal of this project is the reinterpretation of a Mexican icon “el charro”, to create a modern, elegant restaurant with a unique character that expresses its relationship with our beautiful country, Mexico.

Vegetation is incorporated in an original way, and not by using weak elements such as flowerpots.The floor of the restaurant is covered by a plastic carpet that evokes the tatami of Japanese architecture.

The scarcity of columns is evident: only one column is clearly present in terms of space, which creats the impression that this longstretch is supported by only one structural element. There are other seven elements that playfully pretend to be columns but never touch the ground: they emerge from the soffit and have a specific role: the creation of two different environments within the same atmosphere. The rest of the columns have been hidden so as to avoid interrupting the flow of light and space. The presence of wood as a material is not limited to the foreseeable use of floorboards, but contributes to the game of shapes and textures through the use of 10CMX10CM stud sections, which cover the solid sections and the soffit. Over the bar, the stud wall shows some cavities, which are illumianted, making it appear less heavy and revealing that something happens behind them. A staircase hidden behind the bar leads to the restrooms, which feature an opaque glass box contained in another wooden box. There, the environment is milder, and it playfully pretends to minimize the separation between the men’s and women’s rest rooms.

整个空间明显仅有的一根柱子给人的印象像是仅此一个结构元素。其实还有其他充当柱子支撑空间的七种元素,只不过它们都不与地面接触。 它们从梁腹伸出利用同一种氛围营造两种不同的感觉。剩下的柱子为了避免破坏掉空间和光线的流畅隐藏了起来。 木头材质不仅仅是预见性地用在地板上,还包括 10X10 立方体结实的梁腹和节点上。吧台那边,墙上有些空出的部分是为了看起来不那么 厚重可以透过去看到墙后面的情景。吧台后面有个隐藏的楼梯通向半透明盒子里的木盒子中的洗手间。洗手间环境温和,还玩笑地弱化了 男女洗手间的分隔。
