WHY PHILIPPINES? The Philippines is an emerging market and a newly industrialised country that has an economy transitioning from agriculture to services and manufacturing. The Philippines enjoyed a steady economic growth of 6.8% and 7.2% in 2012 and 2013, respectively. The economic outlook remains positive as it could hit 8% in 2016. The positive economic growth reflects the Philippines’ effort in developing the infrastructure of the nation, with more than 50 infrastructure projects worth about US$21 billion in the pipeline*. THE PHILIPPINES COMMITS TO IMPROVE SECURITY, FIRE AND SAFETY Philippine Police deploys Fingerprint Identification System.
