About the GLORI Radio Celebration GLORI ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
“God‘s Light Orders Reveals & Illuminates-YOUR LIFE” Our Theme: Mission Possible November 1, 2008 marks the 1 year anniversary of GLORI RADIO. To kick off the 8 day celebration Igniting the Fire Media Group and GLORI RADIO will sponsor the 1st Annual Life in the Spirit Awards. The 8 day celebration begins on November 1, 2008 with on air contests, interviews, testimonies, artist spotlights, and much more. On Friday, November 7, 2008 at 7 pm. The Life in the Spirit Awards will be held at the Bruce R. Watkins Cultural Center 3700 Blue Parkway, Kansas City, MO. The Life in the Spirit Awards is a awards recognition celebration to honor individuals who have honored God through their lives, ministries and tireless efforts to advance the Kingdom of God. The night will feature live performances from GLORI RADIO artists such as Samuel Huddleston, Gregg Hadnot, Johnnie Foster, Zenobia Smith and Harold Rayford, Eva Sabiniano & Juda Myers. Pastors and teachers currently broadcasting on GLORI RADIO will share their testimonies of Mission: Possible - Spreading the gospel to all nations.

Saturday November 8, 2008 GLORI RADIO will sponsor a seminar for independent artists, “The Message is IN the Music.” Guests speakers will include, Tyscot Recording Artist & Author, Pastor Harold Rayford; Zoe Shuster of Katapult Entertainment; Michelle Stevenson of MGM Magazine and Dr. Jacquie Hadnot of Igniting the Fire Media Group. The seminar will be held at the Bruce R. Watkins Cultural Center 3700 Blue Parkway, Kansas City, MO from 10 am to 1 pm. Saturday evening beginning at 6 pm, Let the Praise begin! A night of concert events like never before. GLORI RADIO celebrates 1 year on the air with music, from artists featured on GLORI RADIO. It’s a night of praise and worship with special guest Tyscot recording artist Harold Rayford, Samuel Huddleston, Eva Sabiniano, Michael Reese, Zenobia Smith, Juda Myers, and more. This event will be filmed for broadcast on ITF-TV. Everyone is invited to be a part of the GLORIOUS celebration for the advancement of the Kingdom of God.

The Life in the Spirit Awards is an awards recognition celebration to honor individuals who have honored God through their lives, ministries and tireless efforts to advance the Kingdom of God. Recipients will come from all walks of life, all areas of ministry and outreach to the world. The Life in the Spirit Awards is NOT a competition event and therefore no voting process is required. The individuals are selected based on their contributions to church or community and who have given of themselves to ease the suffering of others.

Queen Mother McFarlane of Kansas City, Missouri for her tireless efforts to ease the suffering of others through food distribution programs. At 82 years young she is an inspiration to all who meet her.

Rachel's Tea House is a maternity ministry and residential home where young moms and their families learn to build relationships, share experiences and receive some of the tangible things needed for their babies. We provide a network of assistance to meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of teen and unwed mothers. Offering mentoring, support and encouragement when these young women need it the most.
Chicago land Prison Outreach ministers to men and women in the Cook County Jail, Cook County Sheriff’s Boot Camp. Statesville Department of Corrections, and at our Career Center in Roseland. Christian worship services, discipleship classes, individual counseling, vocational training, and job preparation are among the services provided to inmates and participants at these facilities.
The vision of Inter Outreach Ministries & Marge Ballin is directed towards bringing healing to those with broken lives and with a focus on the rehabilitation of prostitutes. Bringing healing to those with broken lives and caught in the self-destructive cycle of prostitution.
Eva Sabiniano, Her goal is to use her talents to minister people to know Jesus Christ and be a good example to all other kids. Part of the proceeds will go's to Eva's ministry helping needy children and other ministries. Presently, at a very young age of eleven, she is actively serving the Charisma Christian Center in Lynnwood, WA worshiping, leading and assisting young kids at church on Sundays.
Elder Freddie Bell has been in the ministry of ministering to the people of Kansas City for more that 20 years. His desire to bring change to the people of Kansas City is the driving force behind the birth of Kingdom Building. Elder Bell is a radio personality, entrepreneur and minister with true kingdom building in mind.

The Jackie Joyner-Kersee Foundation will be recognized worldwide for its comprehensive, youth-driven, education and community building programs in the Metro-East St. Louis region and for its support of youth development, philanthropy and volunteerism worldwide. Gang Outreach is a faith-based, award winning, multi-racial, multi-cultural gang prevention and intervention program in Lake County, Illinois, providing services designed to positively influence the lives of at-risk youth in four areas: Developmentally, Emotionally, Socially and Spiritually. Gang Outreach includes weekly activities which reach gang members, wannabes and at-risk youth in schools, business areas, parks, jails and drug-infested neighborhoods.
Hillcrest Transitional Housing offers displaced families a disciplined educational program within a caring Christian environment. Unlike many organizations whose focus is immediate or emergency care, Hillcrest’s objective is to move families from homelessness to self-sufficiency within 90 days by addressing the total live situation of the homeless families they serve.
Since December 2006, Heroes for the Homeless has been quietly helping men, women and children forced to live outdoors in the Seattle metropolitan area by distributing hot chocolate, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, fresh fruit, hygiene products, clothing, and other survival supplies. Our goal is to help the homeless individuals we serve maintain their dignity and independence. Although we are not a faith-based organization, we believe our work is a spiritual ministry.
Juda Myers, public speaker, singer/songwriter, author and licensed minister conceived in rape, inspires great joy through forgiveness. With much enthusiasm Juda shares a contagious joy for living with purpose. Her desire to see people set free in all aspects keeps her energy high but it is her uncompromising love of God that keeps her fueled for service.
