Clean and Green in Westfield
Clean and Green action in Westfield
A team of operatives from B&NES have been spending time in each ward tackling problems with overhanging vegetation, dirty street and road signs, weeds and litter that have accumulated over time. B&NES have invested £950,000 on initiatives which include more street cleaning, free graffiti removal on domestic properties and response to issues raised by residents.
As part of the Clean and Green funding they have provided each of the No Place for Litter hubs with hoes, brushes, and shovels to help community volunteers carry out weed removal in their local area. Please contact your local hub if you would like to borrow them. The nearest hub to Westfield is Sean Fletcher in Radstock – radstockinbloom@gmail.com
For graffiti removal from domestic properties there is an online form to complete - www.bathnes.gov.uk/webforms/GraffitiRemoval/#
If you would like to become a local hub for community weed removal equipment, please email cleanandgreen@bathnes.gov.uk
