PERPETUATION

The Emerging Leaders were able to donate volunteer hours at CitySquare but they also were able to donate a $1,100 check. With their left over fundraising they were also able to donate a $5oo check to North Texas Make-a-Wish!

We gathered the proceeds from the two previous Clay Shooting Tournaments to donate $80,000 that will go towards two College Students Tuitions over four years as well as go towards helping the students of the RMI Program.

IES placed over 50 candidates throughout our members and generated around $297,494 in Revenue.

Volunteers worked in WWHS< Sunset HS< Grady Spruce HS, and Skyline Hs to share the love we have of our Industry with Students.

PROMOTION OF GOODWILL Every December the IIAD Host a Open house where we ask our members to donate to a toy Drive for Make-a-Wish. Every year our members blow us away with their generosity! Three car load worth of toys was donated to North Texas Make-a-Wish.

With the IIABA Trusted Choice Grant for $7,500 the IIAD was able to host a wish and throw a send off party for Claire Brown's wish to spend time with her family in DisneyWorld..

Every year with the help of our sponsors and volunteers, the IIAD host a Insurance Bootcamp for the students of Woodrow Wilson High School. Our latest bootcamp welcomed almost 4o students!

IIAD participated in North Texas Giving Day by giving $2,500 each to 5 chosen charities. These charities include Boys & Girls Club of Greater Dallas, EQuest, Community Partners of Dallas, The Warren Center, and Make-a-Wish North Texas for a total donation of $12,500.

With the help of all the past two Clay Shoot proceeds IIAD is able to donate $80,000 to UTD RMI Program. With this donation IIAD has become the largest sponsor of the program. More of the UTD graduates are entering the industry on the agent & broker side thanks to positive interactions and wonderful career opportunities. We are grateful to be able to support the future of our industry. The RMI program launched at UT Dallas four years ago, and because of strong support from the insurance industry and its associated individuals, has experienced impressive growth and success.

Our Emerging Leaders hosted a Luncheon where they welcome Keynote Speaker Ryan Hanley. Former Trusted Choice guru Hanley, shared his experiences as the new producer in his father-in-law's agency. The struggle to change the mindset from "the way it's always been done" to the new digital, technologically savvy ways was real for him. He also dived deeper in a workshop sharing his success and giving his tips to a group of our Emerging Leaders. He also welcome a group of leaders after the lunch to join him for a workshop directed to help Producers and their Principals.

IIAD offered a new member benefit in May in the form of a ½ day Agency Workshop facilitated by Tom Doran of Reagan Consulting. The Workshop was entitled, “Helping Independent Agents stay Independent”. It included three main topic sections: Industry Update, Perpetuation Best Practices and Producer Recruitment/Development. Over 50 agency principals attended the event at Texas Mutual’s Irving regional office. Attendees heard about the macro tends within merger and acquisition activities, received metrics for becoming a Best Practices agency, and discovered useful tools for compensation and retention of producer talent.
