Lakiesha Stanley, IIDA
Elsie serves as president of the IIDA New York Chapter, balanced with her role as assistant project manager at NYU Langone Health. She also is the co-founder of Equity Council, a consortium of industry professionals addressing diversity and inclusion issues in architecture and interior design.
Lakiesha’s unique career started in emergency medicine before transitioning to healthcare interior design. She currently works as a designer in Gresham Smith’s healthcare practice and is growing opportunities for people of color in design and textiles through her own home decor line, LWS Boutique.
