The goal of Asset Integrity Management (AIM) is to contribute to the successful achievement of the company’s vision and assure management and shareholders that the asset’s integrity is well maintained. The objective of this five-day course is to bridge the gap between the theoretical and practical knowledge of asset integrity management methodology and processes. You will understand the operational risks induced by the reservoir as a result of its dynamic changes and how these changes affect the risk identification process for pipelines and subsurface equipment.
Course Methodology • You will learn by active interaction during the course, and through exercises, syndicate and group discussions on specific topics and your real life issues. • Throughout the course, you will be encouraged to discuss your organisation’s specific challenges, seek group views and be guided to develop your own corrective action agenda for implementation upon returning to your workplace. • You will participate in the patented “Hudson Express Train Game” – an advanced tool to measure your understanding of the course materials and the asset integrity management processes. • The handout material includes a 280-page book explaining the technical content of the course and a set of 450 PowerPoint slides. Both will become an invaluable reference manual for you after the course.
