What Is EFQM Training?

Meet Your Expert Licensed Trainer

Fadi Mousa Hinno, Quality Manager, Emirates Falcon Electromechanical Co LLC, UAE

EFQM is helping to prepare a new generation of business leaders by offering training and development opportunities built on practice-based learning and exchange between organisations. Initially focusing on training business excellence professionals how to assess an organisation using the EFQM Excellence Model, the EFQM portfolio has expanded to include courses on how to start your organisation’s “Journey to Excellence”, to business management training for senior managers and high potentials through the Pegasus programme.

Why EFQM Training? EFQM is the custodian of the EFQM Excellence Model, a non-prescriptive framework that can be used to gain a holistic view of any organisation, regardless of size, sector or maturity. Over the past 20 years, the EFQM Excellence Model has been a blue print for EFQM Members and other organisations across and beyond Europe to develop a culture of excellence, access good practice, drive innovation and improve results.

Course Assignment • There is a pre-course assignment that must be completed by all delegates on both J2E and L4E courses • J2E is not a pass/fail course • L4E uses case study to explain the EFQM model and the self assessment using RADAR • L4E is a pass/fail course

Certification Journey To Excellence (J2E) and Leaders For Excellence (L4E) – Certificates shall be issued by the EFQM Brussels, Belgium to all successful participants. Please note that L4E is a pass/fail course

Course Objectives Each organisation is unique and of course each organisation’s journey is different. However, through the years EFQM have understood many common features of these journeys and have gathered some key practical steps that all organisations can consider. During the Journey To Excellence (J2E) training you will learn to identify where you are on your journey to excellence, where you would like to be and how to get there. At the end of the course, you will better appreciate what is required to set out on the journey, not just in terms of tools and techniques but also in terms of cultural development. Leaders For Excellence (L4E) is designed for managers who want to understand and apply the EFQM Excellence Model within their working environment. Using real application documents, from either the public or private sector and simple, effective tools, delegates will learn how to identify areas for improvement and adopt a structured approach to effectively address them.
